Brief-COPE Inventory for Stress Coping

The Brief-COPE is a 28-item self-report questionnaire that measures different ways of coping with stress. It asks participants to rate how much they have used various coping strategies over the past month on a 4-point Likert scale ranging from "I have not been doing this at all" to "I have been doing this a lot". The coping strategies include both adaptive strategies like seeking emotional support or taking action, as well as less adaptive strategies like substance use or giving up trying to cope.
