AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESSES
I, LADY ANGELINE M. RECIO, of legal age, Filipino, with
address at Brgy. San Sebastian, Lipa City, after having been sworn,
hereby depose and say:
1. That I am the sister of Atty. Dexter M. Recio, who is an
employee of the City Government of Lipa, Batangas;
2. That I have known him for more than thirty three (33) years and
I have amiably maintained our family relations with him in high
esteem;
3. That I likewise know Mrs. Bernadette Sabili since she is the
wife of our former City Mayor, Meynard Sabili;
4. On March 27, 2022, I saw and heard Mrs. Bernadette P. Sabili
implicate Atty. Dexter M. Recio and his co-employees were
involved in encashing checks that were meant for allowances of
different marginalized sectors. But, according to Mrs.
Bernadette P. Sabili, a portion of the amount of the check
named after Atty. Dexter M. Recio will go personally to his
account and will not go to the beneficiary;
5. I was very surprised at the above statements since it was
obviously meant to assassinate and destroy the good name
and reputation of my brother;
6. Thereafter, I called the attention of my brother, Atty. Dexter M.
Recio, and told him of what I heard and saw from Bernadette
Sabili;
7. That although he denied the imputations, the regard and
esteem which I previously had for Atty. Dexter M. Recio, was
lessened and for a time, I tried to keep my distance from him;
8. That I am executing this Affidavit to attest to the truth of the
foregoing and for whatever purpose it may serve.
