1. What is one act play


A one-act play is a play with just one act, as opposed to plays with multiple acts.
One or more scenes may be present in one-act plays. An increasingly common
one-act play subgenre is the 20–40 minute piece.

2. What are the characteristics of one act play?


 The story must revolve around, or focus on one event.
 The action of the play should move fairly quickly.
 The conflict should be clear to the audience.
 The characters should be limited to two to seven, with one clear main character.
