Chapter 2: Feasibility Study Overview

This chapter discusses the feasibility study process, which assesses whether a design plan is viable. It examines technical, economic, operational, and schedule feasibility. The technical feasibility analysis determines if an organization has the resources and skills to implement the design. The economic feasibility uses a cost-benefit analysis to determine if the benefits outweigh the costs. The operational feasibility evaluates if the design satisfies the organization's needs. The schedule feasibility calculates if the design can be completed on time. The conclusion reflects on building an online job portal as a learning experience that implemented software concepts and met the stated objectives.

Chapter 2: Feasibility Study

Introduction: A feasibility study, also known as a feasibility analysis or a

feasibility report, is a means to determine whether a design plan has a
chance of being successful. A feasibility study assesses the viability of your
design plan to determine if you can do with the design or not.

Technical Feasibility:

The technical resources that the organization has access to are the main
focus of this examination. It aids organizations in determining whether the
technical resources are adequate and whether the technical team has the
skills necessary to turn concepts into functional systems.

Economic Feasibility:

The most popular technique for determining whether a new system is

effective is economic analysis. The process, sometimes referred to as
cost/benefit analysis, is figuring out the predicted savings and advantages
from a candidate system and comparing them to its expenses. The choice
to develop and deploy the system is made if advantages outweigh
expenses.

Operational Feasibility:

This assessment entails conducting research to evaluate whether—and

how effectively—the needs of the organization can be satisfied by
completing the project. Operational feasibility studies also look at how a
project plan satisfies the needs discovered during the system development
process' requirements analysis phase.

Schedule Feasibility:

If a design takes too long to complete before it's salutary it'll fail. This
frequently entails calculating how long the system will take to produce and
determining whether it can be finished in a specific quantum of time using
ways like vengeance period. A design's schedule's viability as a measure of
its punctuality.

Conclusion:

It is clear that the Online Job Portal initiative was a true learning
opportunity. The system did a good job of implementing software
production concepts. The project was created in accordance with the
instructions. We just used the ASP.NET platform to build the online job
portal. A employment portal gives job seekers an effective way to search
online for information on open positions. This portal's major objective is to
try to develop graduates who are suitable for the market. It's crucial to
realize that the Job Portals will never be able to solve all of the issues
facing unemployed grads.

Future Plan:

In the future we will add notification system to this website so that an

employee can easily get the updates of his desired job. There will also be
an inbox system through which the employee and employer will have
conversations with each other through messages. In future we will also add
option to add profile picture to our website. And there will also be a favorite
job list from where an employee can search and apply for his desired job.
