MARCH PAST

Austin:- “March past is all about synchronization and teamwork. Marching demands

alertness and unspoken co-ordination.”

The drumbeat rolls, the band strikes up and a high-pitched voice issues a command.

The synchronized swing of arms and the sound of thudding feet stir something within

us. Besides being spectacular, the sense of dignity and pride the cadets bring to

marchpast is inspiring.

Sureka:-. A well-coordinated march past is a feast to the eyes and ears when coupled

with some stirring marching music. Our cadets demonstrate the heel march by digging

their heels to the ground, with toes pointed upwards and arms swinging rhythmically. A

comprehensive march past drill they spell out, lays emphasis on bearing, marching,

saluting, and coordinating.

Austin:- Right in the front, marching is Viraj Pillai, the boys’ sports captain, He is

Courageous, athletic, and quite ambitious. He guides 120 proud cadets behind him,

Sureka:- Followed by Anamika Sreejith, the girls’ sports captain. She is a keen

sportsperson, an expert in the shot put and handball, and has been to the CBSE

clusters multiple times. She has an excellent outgoing personality and is an outstanding

leader

Sureka:- Here at your sight is the vibrant Autumn house marching magnificently,

dressed red led by boys house captain Siddharth Tripathi. He is an all-round

sportsperson and plays a key part in the school's cricket team. and the girls’ house

captain Marva Munner is an excellent track and field athlete and an outstanding leader.

Autumn the season of mist and mellow fruitfulness. It symbolizes mildness, quiet

beauty, golden leaves, and grey skies. Autumn the season of red represents power,

courage, blood, and fire. The color of passion and energy. it draws attention like no

other color and radiates solid and powerful energy that motivates us to take action

Austin:- Now we have the spring house marching led by the Boys House captain Qays

Shaikh and Girls House Captain Shikha Shaji.

Brimming with confidence, Qays Shaikh has great leadership skills ad sportsmanship.

His conviction really makes him stand out to everyone around him, translating into his

undeniably great leadership skills, and sportsmanship.

Shikha Shaji was awarded the title of 'Academic Achiever' for consecutive proficiency in

academics in 2014-19.

She is the winner of multiple co-curricular activities and has proudly represented the

school in multiple literacy and co-curricular-related competitions.


Spring symbolizes nature’s youth, and it's no surprise why. It is the season of birth,

rejuvenation, and new beginnings. The beauty of this season brings happiness and joy

all around, arousing creativity, and imagination.

As spring arrives, so does the tranquility of our surroundings, and nature is visibly

happy. The color green evokes a feeling of abundance and is associated with

refreshment and peace, rest and security.

Sureka:- Now we witness the sparkling summer house marching majestically in front

you dressed in yellow, and led by the boys' house captain Kamalesh and the girl's

house captain Nasreen Mohammed.

Kamalesh is an exceptional swimmer and a great leader who has represented the

school in nationals. He is an excellent student in terms of academics.

Nasreen is an excellent athlete who has represented the school in several sporting

competitions including the CBSE Clusters.

She is a brilliant all-rounder who has won distinction for the International Benchmark

Test and other certifications for performing arts and speech.

Summer is a time of light, joy, expression, and wholehearted action.Days are longer and

the rays of the sun dissolve all shadows in our lives. No hiding, no secrets and no

darkness. The yellow they adorn proudly, symbolizes their confidence, optimism,

cheerfulness and, courage, and the innate association of yellow with the sun

and its warmth.


Austin:- Now at your sight, is the Gracious march of Winter House, dressed in blue led

by the boys house captain Advith Menon. He is an ambitious and confident leader. He is

a great speaker and an exceptional sportsman.

Followed by Palak Giroti the girls' house captain. She has represented the school in

National Clusters multiple times and is an exceptional leader. Fairly well in Academics.

Practiced martial arts for over a decade.

Winter symbolizes the endless tranquility found in the sky, the ocean, and most

importantly, peace. Strong yet undetectable, soothing yet audible. Blue symbolizes

independence, intuition, loyalty, and trust. It instills in people a sense of sincerity,

stability, and faith

Sureka:- We are extremely glad to present the four distinctive houses: Autumn, Spring,

Summer, and Winter. Each house is pridefully represented by the respective House

captains.

Sureka:- We are also extremely proud of our drummer Varsha Manoj. She has an

excellent outgoing personality and is an outstanding leader. She is a Math topper.

Austin:- March past shows the team spirit, whole team combination, and discipline. “Talents

wins games but team work and intelligence wins champions”. It was an impressive display put

out by 120 students.


OATH TAKING

Sureka:- To take an oath is like taking a road to one's growth.

“It will encourage loyalty to the extent that continues to believe that one cannot escape
ultimate accountability for a breach of faith”.

Now, the council members along with their teams will raise the right hand for the oath.

MASS DRILL

Sureka:- Drills are the fundamental core of all skill training.A drill is a mean of teaching and
training through repeated exercise or repetition of an act.Each sport has its own set of drills
for developing the skills required.

Austin:- These drills are helpful for a multitude of sports including football and basketball. So,
here we have the students of grade six to display their skills with an impressive drill.

Sureka:- Spectacular displays put up by the grade 6 students. They have successfully
conveyed the true essence of the drill and its benefits when done correctly.

PATRIOTIC SONG

Sureka:- “Music is the universal language of mankind.” “Where words fail, music
speaks.” Here are the students of grades 6 and 7 to express their patriotism through the
endless expanse of music.

Austin:- Let’s give a big round of applause for the melodious song. It was surely a treat for our
ears.

PATRIOTIC DANCE

Austin:- “Dancing is surely the most basic and relevant of all forms of expression. Nothing else
can so effectively give outward form to an inner experience.”

Dance is a performing art form consisting of sequences of movement with aesthetic and often
symbolic value. It is an art said to have existed over 10,000 years ago. Here are the students of
grades 6 and 7 to express their patriotism through the endless expanse of dance,.

A beautiful performance, very emotional and moving.

What a moving performance

The Co-ordination between body and mind is truly mesmerizing.

“The dance is a poem is a poem in which each movement is a word”

Dance is an art that imatprint on the soul. it is with you every moment, it expresses itself
in everything you do.

Their synchronized movement to the rhythmic beat is awe-inspiring.

What you see here is truly the fruit of hours of dedication and practice.

Their intricate moves have given life to dance and truly spreads their message.

Sureka:- What a Spectular display of the unison of mind and body. The 6th and 7th graders
have portrayed a fabulous image of their patriotism and love towards our country.
