Step 1
Using the provided Visca and Power Cable connect at the rear of the tracking camera:
• The 8-pin connector to the Camera Ctrl IN socket
• The power Connector to the DC IN 12 V socket
Using The provided HDMI cable insert it in the HDMI connector of the tracking cable
Step 2
Attach the two connectors to the camera sockets at the rear of the XT Series endpoint:
• The HDMI connector to the vertical socket
• The connector for power and serial control to the horizontal socket.
Note: if for custom setup it’s necessary to power the camera with the power supply, it is available
in the optional cable kit.
Step 3
Check that HD1 camera is enabled in the menu Configure > Advanced > I/O connections >
Camera > HD1
Step 4
Set the camera driver to the option ”XT Series TC220 Camera” in the menu Configure > Advanced
> I/O connections > Camera > HD1

Software Upgrade
This section explains how to upgrade your device.
Please refer to Avaya IX TC220 Software Upgrade Guide available on Avaya web site for details.
Preliminary
Step1 – TC220 connected to the XT codec as first camera
Please refer to “Connecting the Unit and Quick Setup”
Step2 – Set up the TC220 IP address
WARNING
• The Tracking Camera TC220 Ethernet connection is used for software upgrade only. Do not
keep the cable inserted after the upgrade.
Upgrade
Warning
When the tool is executed, it automatically might detect the IP Address of the TC220 camera
that is in the same subnet of the PC that is running the upgrade tool and adds it inside the IP
Address field. Please verify that the IP Address field is filled with the right IP Address of the
TC220 you want to upgrade, set as described in the “Preliminary Section”.
6. Start the upgrade clicking on “Upgrade Button”. The progress while uploading file and writing it
to the camera are displayed below.
Warning
• Do not disconnect the Ethernet cable during the upgrade
7. Wait until the software upgrade is completed
