Firefighters work at fire stations with their friends as a team. Their job is to help people and animals in danger by preventing and putting out fires, rescuing those trapped, and providing public education. I am a firefighter. My friends and I


work at a fire station. Our job is to
help people and animals who are in
danger. We always work as a team.
We prevent and put out fires, rescue
people and animals who are trapped and provide educa-
tion to the public for a safe life. We wear special clothes, a
big coat and pants which make us look larger. We also
wear a helmet, gloves and boats to protect ourselves from
fire. We arrive at the scene of the fire by the fire engine.
Fire engines have a water tank, pump and a very long hose. When a fire engine
blares its siren other cars on the road move out of the way.
Firefighters are real life heroes as they save lives!
