Operational checks – Timing: Check the 30 second alarm time out by pressing the Alarm Silence key. The
alarm must sound again after 30 seconds.

Operational checks – Remote alarm: Check to see that the remote alarm is functioning properly.

Check foot pads for wear.

Check case for scratches or other cosmetic damage.

Check switch membrane for scratches and other cosmetic damage.

Check keys by pressing each one to ensure proper operation.

Test battery operation.

Calibration and testing – Check that the alarm sounds and the word “CAL” is displayed in the window.
The unit enters the Run Mode.

Calibration and testing – (Zero pressure) Check that the alarm sounds.

Calibration and testing – Check that there is a reading at zero pressure.

Calibration and testing – (100 cm pressure) Check that the alarm sounds.

Calibration and testing – Check that there is a reading at 100 cm pressure.

Calibration and testing – (-100 cm pressure) Check that the alarm sounds.

Calibration and testing – Check that there is a reading at -100 cm pressure.

Calibration and testing – Check that there is an entry into the Calibration routine and “H2O” is displayed.

Calibration and testing – (-95 cm) Check that the reading from the pressure alarm is within 2 cm of the
manometer reading.

Calibration and testing – (+95 cm) Check that the reading form the pressure alarm is within 2 cm of the
manometer reading.

Check tubing and wires for proper connections.

Perform Quality Assurance Check-out procedure.
