WSPO2 verification – Verify the following: A reasonable SPO2 number (95 to 100%) displayed in the
SPO2 vital sign box.

WSPO2 verification – Verify the following: A smooth waveform without steps.

Printer verification – Verify the Printer is displayed as Connected in the Status Information Panel dialog
box.

Printer verification – Verify Printer Paper Out is displayed next to Printer in the Status Information Panel

printing performed clearly.

NIBP verification – NIBP static test – Note the reading displayed in the Pressure box of the NIBP STATIC
TEST window. The value should be 280 mmHg +/- 3 mmHg.

NIBP verification – NIBP static test – (0 mmHg) Verify the accuracy of the NIBP system against the
manometer by pumping to the pressures in the table and reading the measured value displayed in the
NIBP STATIC TEST window. Verify that measurements indicated by the MR200 are within ± 3 mmHg of
the manometer values. 0 - 3
NIBP verification – NIBP static test – (50 mmHg) Verify the accuracy of the NIBP system against the
manometer by pumping to the pressures in the table and reading the measured value displayed in the
NIBP STATIC TEST window. Verify that measurements indicated by the MR200 are within ± 3 mmHg of
the manometer values. 47 - 53

NIBP verification – NIBP static test – (100 mmHg) Verify the accuracy of the NIBP system against the
manometer by pumping to the pressures in the table and reading the measured value displayed in the
NIBP STATIC TEST window. Verify that measurements indicated by the MR200 are within ± 3 mmHg of

and that the cuff deflates when a blood pressure determination has been reached.

NIBP verification – PEDIATRIC verification – Verify that the systolic, mean and diastolic pressure numeric
values are present in the NIBP VS box, and that the values are normal for the operator’s PED pressure.

NIBP verification – PED DEAD MAN verification – Verify the unit displays Measurement Fail at the end of
the NIBP cycle.
NIBP verification – NEO verification – Verify that the cuff inflates to approximately 100 +/- 15 mmHg and
that the cuff deflates when a blood pressure determination has been reached.

NIBP verification – NEO verification – Verify that the systolic, mean and diastolic pressure numeric
values are present in the NIBP VS box, and that the values are normal for the operator’s neo finger
pressure. Remove the cuff from the finger.

NIBP verification – NEO DEAD MAN verification – Verify the unit displays Measurement Fail at the end of
the NIBP cycle.

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – FLOW MEASUREMENT verification – Ensure
that the CO2 parameter is already turned on and that CO2 WARMING UP is no longer displayed.

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – FLOW MEASUREMENT verification – Verify
that the flow is 50ml/min +/- 10ml (40 to 60ml/min).

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – Perform CO2 zero calibration.

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – CO2 accuracy verification – Ensure that the
CO2 parameter is on and that CO2 Warming Up is not displayed.

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – CO2 accuracy verification – Observe CO2
waveform value is 5%+/- 0.3%.

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – Verify the CO2 numeric value is 38 +/- 4
mmHg.

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – CO2 MEASUREMENT verification – Verify
that the Cart detects CO2 and measures 38 +/- 4 mmHg.

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – CO2 MEASUREMENT verification – Verify
that the CO2 waveform is consistent with the operator’s normal respiration rate. Typical measurement
is 10-16 BPM.

Low flow EtCO2 verification (if the CO2 option is installed) – CO2 MEASUREMENT verification – Record
the CO2 reading in the acceptance column.

Respiration (RESP) verification (if the Respiration option is installed) – Verify that the Cart displays a RESP
rate consistent with the operator’s breathing rate. Typical measurement is 10-16 BPM.

Gating verification (option) – FIELD SERVICE verification – Verify a 1mV pulse signal with a QRS count of 60 BPM.

Gating verification (option) – FIELD SERVICE verification – Confirm that a gating pulse is observed at the MR
console.

Gating verification (option) – ECG 5 VOLT DIGITAL PULSE verification – Observe that the digital scope displays a
positive pulse train, approximately 5 volts in amplitude, as shown below.

Gating verification (option) – ECG NEGATIVE 5 VOLT DIGITAL PULSE verification – Observe that the digital scope
displays a negative pulse train, approximately -5 volts in amplitude, as shown below.

Gating verification (option) – ECG 1 VOLT ANALOG SIGNAL verification – Observe that the digital scope displays an
analog signal, approximately 1 volt in amplitude, as shown below.
Gating verification (option) – ECG 1mV ANALOG SIGNAL verification – Observe that the digital scope displays an
analog signal, approximately 1 mV in amplitude, as shown below.

Gating verification (option) – SPO2 20 mV ANALOG SIGNAL verification – Observe that, within a few seconds, the
SPO2 waveform is displayed.

Gating verification (option) – SPO2 20 mV ANALOG SIGNAL verification – Observe that the digital scope displays an
analog signal, approximately 20 mV in amplitude, as shown below.

Gating verification (option) – SPO2 2 VOLT ANALOG SIGNAL verification – Observe that the digital scope displays an
analog signal, approximately 2 V in amplitude, as shown below.

Gating verification (option) – RESPIRATION 1 VOLT ANALOG SIGNAL verification – Verify that the SPO2 and RESP
parameters are on.

Gating verification (option) – RESPIRATION 1 VOLT ANALOG SIGNAL verification – Observe that the digital scope
displays an analog signal, approximately 1 V in amplitude (amplitude may vary depending on the force applied), as
shown below.

RF test verification – FIELD SERVICE Verification – RF Test with MR System Available (Onsite) – Verify
communication.

RF test verification – FIELD SERVICE Verification – RF Test with MR System Available (Onsite) – Verify no noise on
image.

RF test verification – BENCH REPAIR Verification – Ensure that all equipment is turned on including: 1) Agilent
34970A Data Acquisition / Switch Unit; 2) HP 8560E Spectrum Analyzer; 3) Agilent 8447D Amplifier (inside of shield
room); 4) test computer; 5) display; and, 6) printer.

RF test verification – BENCH REPAIR Verification – Verify successful power-up.

RF test verification – BENCH REPAIR Verification – Check if the printed test report indicates “PASS”.

NIBP Calibration – Ensure the manometer hand pump is set to the closed position.

NIBP Calibration – Check that the NIBP CAL window changes to read, “NIBP Calibration successfully completed”.

NIBP Calibration – Ensure no error messages are observe during the calibration of the NIBP system.

Perform Gas Calibration (CO2 option only).

Battery tests – Battery test for Cart – Check that, after charging the battery overnight, if all power level LED
indicators are not extinguished or that the right-most LED flashes (voltage reading bad).

Battery tests – Battery test for Cart – Check that three (3) or more of the adjacent power level LED indicators on
the battery are illuminated solid (voltage reading good).

Battery tests – Battery test for the WECG and WSPO2 modules – Check that the voltage measured is greater than
to +3.3 VDC (voltage reading, low).

Battery tests – Battery test for the WECG and WSPO2 modules – Check that the voltage measured is greater than
to +3.3 VDC (voltage reading, low). (repeated with the battery removed from the WSPO2 module)

Replace the Cart battery, 14.8 V Lithium-Ion (2 each unit).

Replace the WECG/WSPO2 module battery, 4.1 V Lithium-Ion (1 per module).


Replace the Nasal cannula and patient adapter airway (CO2 option only).
