1.) NAME OF ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE

Zoho Books is one-stop platform for managing accounting tasks and organizing transactions.
It's a single secure location to keep up with company's bills and invoices, reconcile bank
statements, control spending, oversee projects, and eliminate GST compliance worries.
2.) GATEWAY
On starting the software, the application/website asks to login or signup. After selecting sign
up the application asks to enter the company’s name for which you want to maintain the
accounts.
After entering the details, it is necessary to enter the time zone, currency, nation, etc. suitable
for the company.
Once the process is completed an account under the name of our company, we are ready for
the accounting process.
After the account opening process is done and we start the application main appears before
us, which is called as the gateway page.it looks like as follows for mobile and pc.

3.) INTRODUCTION
Zoho Books helps you to record all your transactions such as Sale, Purchase, Payments,
Expenses, and Taxes etc. It is designed by ZOHO CORPORATION, a Chennai-Tamil Nadu
based software developing company. Zoho books/corporation is committed to bringing
cutting-edge technologies to small and medium sized businesses providing them the ease to
maintain their account smoothly. Their products are evolving at a considerable pace.
“ZOHO BOOKS” Bookkeeping software has been designed for small businesses to manage
their complete accounting needs with limited or no knowledge of underlying accounting
principles. You can send across invoices, record purchases, manage your expenses, and track
your payable and receivables. App is free to try for 14 days, after which you can purchase
subscription.
4.) CREATION
A.) MASTERS/ ACCOUNTS
For creation of any master that is account or customer the following are the steps:
Dashboard -> drop down button on sales/purchases tab -> customers/vendors -> create

B.) INVENTORY
In order to create inventory or items in the inventory you need to click on “items” tab
on the left side of the gateway page.
The steps to create list of inventories is as follows:
For pc:
Dashboard -> items -> create or ‘+’ sign -> enter the information required -> save
For Mobile:
Dashboard -> click on the ‘+’ sign at the bottom right corner -> select the option as
per requirement

5.) TRANSACTIONS
A.)SALES:
In order to execute sales transaction, we need to create an estimate to
be given to the customer.
Estimate is created as follows:
Dashboard -> ‘SALES’ tab -> click on ‘ESTIMATES’ -> fill in the information as
required

After estimate is generated, if the party other side accepts our estimate, we
can directly create invoice or else first we create sales order and then we
can convert it into invoice as and when payment is received.

B.) PURCHASE:
In order to execute purchase transaction, we need to create an
‘PURCHASE ORDER’ to be given to the vendor.
Purchase Order is created as follows:
Dashboard -> ‘PURCHASES’ tab -> click on ‘PURCHASE ORDERS’ -> fill in the
information as required.

After P/Order is generated, if the party other side is ready to fulfil our
demand, we can directly make payment or else first we have to create a
‘BILL’ and then we can convert it into payment slip as and when payment is
done.

The setting menu of the zoho books software contains various settings. we can
change the organizations profile also switch it. Not only option of users but also it offers
change the software preferences as per our choices. These app provides various themes of
templates, format, structure and colours. And the main setting is it offers the privacy &
security option which is very useful for all of us to secure our data & uses the data whenever
we want it. The next seeing is taxes in taxes it shows the tax rate & GST setting. In zoho
software we can upload image as per our resolution. And for the better improvements the
app also gives the option of feedback here we gives our opinion on what are the others things
and options we want in these software. Also we change the currency as per our choices
