Question One

a) Projected aids are an important tool in teaching and learning. Briefly describe the
principle on which projected aids work.

b) One of the measures that govern effective use of the chalkboard or white board is “good
writing.” Briefly explain what good writing involves. [12

Refer to Figure Q1 and answer the following questions:

i. State one disadvantage for each of the color combinations

ii. When using the color wheel, explain how you can achieve emphasis, contrast and

that a teacher is expected to do when planning for a successful presentation and use of teaching

When selecting a book for teaching and learning purposes, a teacher should take into account certain
aspects. List and explain FIVE of these aspects. [ 20 marks]
