➢ Obtained management approval and arranged Manual or Automatic Load Shedding
as Appropriate in case frequency drops below the limit prescribed in Grid Code and
Power balance is at risk while no further generation is available.
➢ Took proper measures to maintain the safety and security of the system,
communicated outage time duration and severity time to their counterpart and to
Manager Network Operations, in case forced outage is required urgently
(Immediate), within 4 hours (Short Time), 8 hours (Medium Time) or one week
(Long Time) is reported to RCC.
➢ Carried out the switching & control operations of 132Kv and 66Kv Transmission
Lines and Auto Transformers & Power Transformers for routine and emergent
shutdowns.
➢ Detected control room failure (i.e. tripping of a feeder, transformer, bus bar etc.),
response immediately in coordination with concerned stakeholders to restore
tripped apparatus and reduce energy loss; Prepared daily synopsis at day end by
night shift and forward the same to Deputy Manager RCC for review and
finalization; Logged the details of the incident / trip that occurred in Power System,
in the Shift Log Register.
➢ Prepared Line Tripping / Unscheduled outage report and submitted the same to
Deputy Manager RCC and Manager RCC for review and approval, respectively.
