PREFACE
Banking looks like a traditional industry. But it has always innovated where
services are delivered over the internet. From bank notes to cheque books to credit
and debit cards, the banking sector’s big ideas have passed across the world. The
shift from traditional to digital banking has been gradual and remains ongoing.
Every country tries to bring better features of other countries to their own. Today,
technological innovation is re-defining how banks operate and the services they
offer to customers.
Online banking has reframed the outlook of banks. With this internship I intended
to see the working of a bank. The difference is it’s a new age bank. In the course of
Master of Business Administration (M.B.A), every student required to undergo
application-based internship after the completion of 2nd semester. I also had
undergone an internship at India Post Payments Bank.
