Situational leadership is also an effective style in leading in an organization. Generally, it
means being able to control outcomes because you as a leader is able to effectively
influence your organization in all directions, can it be upwards, across and down. A
situational leader is someone who think proactively and consider how his subordinates
will react. It is a proactive way of leading wherein it is based on how its subordinates will
react that his leadership depends. When this type of leader effectively adapt this
leadership style to his followers' needs, work gets done, relationships are built up, and
basically, the follower's developmental level rises, to everyone's benefit.
How to improve organizational effectiveness through transformational leadership
A transformational leadership style is one of the leadership styles on improving
organizational effectiveness. It is a style of leadership wherein a leader inspires
employees to strive beyond required expectations to work toward a shared vision.
Further, the transformational leader encourages its followers/employees by acting as a
role model, motivating through inspiration, stimulating intellectually, and giving
individualized consideration for needs and goals. Hence, the result is individual, group,
and organizational achievement beyond expectations.
