Appendix-1
Contrast Sensitivity
1. Digitize the EPRI Film with 16 bit and 100 microns setting.
2. Measure the Optical Density of each step in Step block C on the digital image of EPRI.
3. Measure the Grey values of each step of the step Block C on the digital image of EPRI.
• These gray values are benchmark readings for the end user for periodic system
performance verification.
• The system shall be able to differentiate each step and the variation of the mean grey
value shall be within ±2275 from the benchmark readings
