Leaders and Secretary, and Getting to Know). August 27, 2022, Discussion on Module 2: Good
Governance. Good governance has certain elements that you need to know. The election is the time to
hear the voice of the people. This is the time we choose our leaders. Voter education is an important part
of Good Governance because this topic provides you with insights into the significance of democracy as
we participate in elections. It implies our political obligations to the State and to one another. Voters'
education is often provided by the state itself, often through a national electoral commission. Activity
Groupings - What would you do with your 50,000? (To be passed through canvas inbox). Activity Individual
- List at least 5 values (To be passed through canvas inbox/claned).
For the month of September. On September 03, 2022, made a reflection on the 45 Mins - Video (COVID-
19 in the Philippines: The Starving Urban Poor. What Went Wrong?) That was sent to inbox in canvas with
at least 300 words in a pdf file. September 10, 2022, module 4 discussion about the 4 types of disasters
which are natural, environmental, complex, and pandemic emergencies. Emergency Management is the
generic name of an interdisciplinary field dealing with the strategic organization management processes
used to protect the assets of an organization from hazard risks that can cause disasters or catastrophes
and to ensure the continuance of the organization within its planned lifetime. The main goals of this
organization are to protect human lives, assets, and the environment during disasters. In addition, the
organization's principles are to provide information, networking, education, and professional
opportunities, and to advance the emergency management profession. Red Cross/Red Crescent (RC)
provides a web-based tool for their personnel including disaster trends, tools, and databases. RC has
standard operating procedures to aid affected areas during disasters. Also, they provide immediate
funding and food supplies for victims of poverty and disasters as depicted. Project NOAH is the
Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) response to the call of President Benigno S. Aquino III for
a more accurate, integrated, and responsive disaster prevention and mitigation system, especially in high-
risk areas throughout the Philippines. Environment refers to the natural surroundings and conditions in

which we live. This threat is entirely due to human activities. These human activities have certainly caused
severe damage to the Environment. Most noteworthy, this damage risks the survival of living things on
Earth. Therefore, there is an urgent need to save the Environment. Then, Activity (Kahoot Quiz - Module
-2) and Discussion of synchronous and asynchronous meetings. September 17, 2022, Asynchronous
Meeting. September 24, 2022, Academic break.
For the month of October. On October 1, 2022, Asynchronous Meeting. October 08, 2022, Roleplay
presentation about Governance. October 22, 2022, had a quiz using Kahoot that is all about modules 3
and 4. Effective drug education is important because young people are faced with many influences to use
both licit and illicit drugs. Education can play a counterbalancing role in shaping a normative culture of
safety, moderation, and informed decision-making. Despite the tamed and glamorized idea of drug use,
it must be remembered that it can still lead to abuse, addiction, legal offenses, serious health problems,
and even death. Towards the end, the development of partnerships between young people and adults
across all areas of life takes a valued position and role in our society so that the community (as well as
young people) can benefit from their contribution, ideas, and energies. Then discussed modules 5 and 6
that is about the goal of the national security strategy is to ensure the protection of our nation's
fundamental and enduring needs: protect the lives and safety of Americans; maintain the sovereignty of
the United States, with its values, institutions, and territory intact; and provide for the prosperity of the
nation and its people. The Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 amends the Human Security Act of 2007. It expands
the definition of terrorism to include acts intended to cause "death or serious bodily injury to any person,"
"extensive damage and destruction" to a government facility, private property, or critical infrastructure,
and when the purpose of those acts is to "intimidate [the] general public," "create an atmosphere or
message of fear," or "seriously destabilize or destroy the fundamental political, economic and social
structures of the country." Those found guilty face life sentences without the chance of parole. As
previously stated, health education promotes a healthy lifestyle and raises awareness about the
importance of health. This can be done when professionals take part in educating people on what they
can do to have a healthier life. Health education does not just happen in schools. All governments should
learn from this experience, and strengthen their education systems to withstand future crises, whether
from disease, armed conflict, or climate change. This pandemic has shown that few governments have
invested in their education emergency response, or have tested their capacity to manage disasters’ knock-
on effects on education. Given the expectation of further shocks, this is not just desirable, but an
imperative to protect children and youth’s right to education during unstable times. October 29, 2022, is
supposed to be CME taking but the class suspends due to a typhoon.
And lastly, for the month of November. On November 12, 2022, the continuation of the delayed CME -
9:30 am to 11:30 am (Synchronous Session). November 19, 2022, discussion of missing requirements,
discussion about the CME results, and the discussion of requirements for Finals (the narrative report
should be in either Tagalog, English, or Taglish, depending on what we prefer; font size that should be 12
with a maximum of 2 pages.) November 26, 2022, is the finishing of the requirements.
