Greetings!
I am Earl Joseph Tinamisan, a graduate of Southern Luzon State University with a degree in Bachelor
of Science in Forestry, graduating class of 2018 and a Career Service Examination (Professional)
passer in 2017 and a recent passer in the 2018 Forestry Licensure Examination. As fresh graduate with
aspiring hopes to exercise my profession, I would like to apply for the position of Special Police
Lieutenant, with the Plantilla Item No. UPLB-SPL-17-1998 in LAND GRANT MANAGEMENT OFFICE,
in OVCPD, UPLB, Los Baños, Laguna.
To exercise and enhance the skills, knowledge and abilities that I have accumulated towards the
advancement of society and conservation of our natural environment.. I am committed, flexible, eager,
and I also work well in groups or alone.
As a student I have been involved in my school community, which has allowed me to develop strong
interpersonal skills. I have been part of the executive committee in both of my school organizations and
has represented our college for the Student Council COMELEC. I also have been part of our College’s
representative in the 12th National Forestry Olympiad.
I also have a limited experiences with various works. In my practicum experience as an undergraduate,
we had conducted a series of activities which are: Mangrove Valuation (Willingness to Pay) in Alabat
and Quezon, Quezon; Mangrove Forest Carbon Stock and Stratification in SLSU Mangrove Site in
Alabat Quezon, Mapping and Development Plan Formation of SLSU Catanauan, and Mother Tree
Selection and Wilding Collection in Mt. Banahaw. I also have experience outside the university which
includes: being a Research Assistant in a vegetaion survey in requirements for an EIA for a proposed
SMC 600 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant in Pagbilao, Quezon; a Field Enumerator for a satisfactory survey
for the projects of the National Dairy Authority in Region V; as an Entomologist for biological survey
which included insect diversity for a proposed 75.6 MW Wind Power Project In Nabas and Malay, Aklan;
and as a Research Assistant in a vegetation survey and carbon sequestration for A1E 2x600 MW Coal-
fired Power Plant in Atimonan, Quezon. I hope that I can make positive contribution to your office.
