Constructive Speech

In talking about any issues health is what we must give more importance. In times wherein many
people suffer from uncured disease like cancer, seizures, epilepsy and HIV, efficient and affordable
medicine is what we’re seeking for. Medicine bring different changes in the means of life and death:
Lady and gentlemen, I am Pearly Hollero and I stand to believe that marijuana should be legalized. Good
afternoon.

As of 2018, almost 30 countries around the world have legalized the use of marijuana such as Canada,
the Netherlands, south Africa and Uruguay which is known as the first country which legalized the used
of cannabis. Some of these countries use cannabis in field of medicine. Why?? For it contains
cannabinoids. It is a unique chemical structure that can only be found in the cannabis plant.
Cannabinoids may be helpful in treating certain rare forms of epilepsy, nausea and vomiting associated
with cancer chemotherapy and loss of appetite and weight loss associated with HIV/AIDS.

Based on World Health Organization Expert Committee on Drug Dependence (ECDD) CBD “Does not
appear to have abuse potential or cause harm.” Instead, it is based on the amount of dosage you will
intake. If the legalization of marijuana means to help many lives, would you still consider it harmful? Or
we human are the one who is unware of the proper use of it.

Lack of orientation this is what make the use of marijuana harmful, lack of knowledge about the proper
use of marijuana makes an individual lost their path: But with the help of the bill prepared by senator
Risa Hontiveros “Philippines Compassionate Medical Cannabis Act” where it suggested that medical
cannabis should be made available for patients via a prescription from a health official. This bill clearly
provides that the use of medical marijuana has to comply with strict regulatory requirements under the
Department of Health (DOH). If the legislation becomes law, multiple government agencies will be
responsible for establishing as well as overseeing the medical cannabis market. The DOH will take charge
of registering and issuing licenses for physicians, patients and caregivers, as well as developing the
system’s framework and regulations.

With proper Implementation, people will be able to know there limit as a responsible user of the
marijuana and proper justice or consequences for those who will abuse of it.

1. So you do not agree in legalization of marijuana right?

2. then why do you think other countries legalize the use of marijuana?

3. Do you think marijuana is still harmful eventhough there will be a product testing before its
legalization just like what other countries did?
