Write your thoughts and goals around whether or not the dynamic you
want is just in the bedroom, on weekends, or full-time. Long distance
Dom/sub relationships can still be 24/7 through text or other online
means.

#4. SAFEWORDS

Write all your potential safewords and decide on what to use. Remember:
one word for when the submissive is at their limit, and a second for when
all activity of the Dominant needs to stop immediately. Journal about
possible situations when the safewords might be used.

#5. AFTERCARE

Aftercare is vital after a scene when a sub can “drop” emotionally and
mentally. It combines caring for their needs and giving them
reassurance. Record below your ideas, goals, wants, and needs for
aftercare.

#6. RITUALS

Write about what routines you will put in place to keep both you and
your potential partner grounded in your role. Rituals can also be chosen
by the Dom for their pleasure.

Bondage uses ropes, ties, and other restraints to remind the sub who is
ultimately in control of their body. It can also create anticipation and
greatly increase arousal. Record below your ideas, goals, wants, and
needs for bondage.

Discipline is vital to train the sub. Corporal punishments and other


forms of physical discipline can help teach the sub a lesson. Record
below your ideas, goals, wants, and needs for discipline (include rewards
