text.
Informational text gives facts about a specific topic. It's
is usually found in newspapers, magazines, textbooks,
biographies and instruction manuals.
D. Lesson Proper
a. Motivation
Have you ever planted a tree? Why is it important to
plant a tree?
Today you will be hearing how do plants grow and
change. (Teacher will read the story while the pupil
listen)
How do Plants Grow and Change?
All plants have a life cycle. A cycle is a series of changes
that occur in the life of a plant. During it's life cycle, a
plant can grow, change and makes more plants like
itself. The plant dies at the end of its life cycle.
Plants start their life cycle in different ways. Some
plants like a tree, starts as a seed. The kind of seed you
plant is the kind of plant that will grow. Other plants
begin as a bulb or cutting.
b. Presentation and Discussion

from Informational text listened to.
So, what is Restating?
Restating means using your own words to express
somebody else's ideas, without changing it's meaning
and removing an information.
Meaning, expressing your own ideas or word from what
you've understand in a certain information. This is like a
paraphrasing, changing the words but not the meaning

written text that it's purpose is to inform the reader or
give knowledge about factual information. That is what
we restate, the Informational text.
