a. most appropriate chart is p control chart because we want to control the infection
percentage.
b. UCL = p_bar + 3*sqrt ( p_bar*(1-p_bar)/n)
LCL = p_bar + 3*sqrt ( p_bar*(1-p_bar)/n)
n is the sample size here it is no. of surgeries for each month so UCL and LCL will be different
for each month . which i calculated on excel attached.

c) data is plotted in control chart table attached


d) process is in control because all p represented by blue line is within LCL and UCL.

3) since the data is in control hence there is nothing to worry about for management.
