INSTRUMENTATION 10.1 The main control system shall be a microprocessor-based distributed control system (DCS) that is provided with graphic display, recording, alarming, reporting & logging functions. Programmable Logic Controller can be used for ON-OFF control & indications but it has to be integrated as a part of DCS (linked via data highway). 10.2 ESD system shall be separated from the normal control devices and it shall be connected to a information display via data highway. 10.3 Field instruments shall be suitable for the operating & climatic conditions and shall be considered for ease operation, maximum simplicity and reliability. Weatherproof shall be IP54 as minimum. 10.4 Instrumentation signal in used shall be as follows: Electric Signal : 4-20 mA / DC24V Pneumatic Signal : 20-100 KPa (0.2 -1.0 kg/em2G) 10.5 Control valve shall be sized and selected considering with operation & design conditions and also with the operability especially for the turn down ratio.
