Wet Sump oil mist or Purge oil mist
application
Oil mist continuously enters and flows through the space
above the oil level.
Oil-mist purge was to establish a positive pressure that
reduced the entry of solid atmospheric contaminants and
water vapor. This extended bearing life and oil replacement
frequency.
The main lubrication source still using lube oil level in bearing
housing sump. Hence oil sump levels must still be checked.
Extend oil change interval to 12 months

In case of Alarm, please check
as following;
1. Ensure oil is in both
Reservoirs (Bulk & Main)
2. Ensure Mist Pressure is 20"
H2O
3. Ensure there is Oil Mist
supply to Rotating equipment.
4. Contact local agent to verify
root cause of alarm.
Note : Common alarm will communicate to MCB

Start up-Auxiliary Oil Mist Generator
(U-shape cycle)
1. Turn OFF the electrical power to the main oil mist generator
2. Turn OFF the air supply to the main oil mist generator.
3. Bleed the mist pressure at main generator side to zero.
4. Turn ON the air supply to the auxiliary oil mist generator and adjust the mist pressure.
5. Turn ON the electrical power to the auxiliary oil mist generator
6. Once the auxiliary oil mist generator has been placed in operation, maintenance and
repair to the main oil mist generator can be performed. The main oil mist generator
should be placed back in service as soon as possible. If the auxiliary oil mist generator
remains in operation for an extended time period, it should be monitored to ensure
that the oil level, air temperature and mist pressure is maintained.
