students. We come up with various ideas and get it executed for
the students, future pillars of our country to understand the
importance of gender equality. With the objective to foster
Gender Equality and equal opportunity to all, ZREYAS'21 is
aforethought. ZREYAS'21 is a national level technical symposium
conducted in the month of February by the Gender Equality Club
of Kongu Engineering College. ZREYAS'21 will be a virtual fete
for all those Technical and non - technical questers.

General Rules
➢ Every participant is expected to behave politely with
organisers, volunteers and other participants.
➢ Misconduct or potential malpractice in any form will be
penalised and may include disqualification and/or ban.
➢ Participants are advised to be present at the respective
meeting platforms in advance to avoid last-minute
hassles. Any request for a delay will not be entertained.
➢ It is the participant's responsibility to have a stable
internet connection. Dealing with any discontinuity in
the event on the participant's side is not the organisers
responsibility.
➢ Participants must further abide by the specific rules of
the individual competitions/events which are stated in
the rule book.
Important note:
Rules and regulations of the events are subject to change at
the discretion of the organising committee. However, the
participants will receive prior notifications if any such
changes were to take place. It is strongly advised that the
participants only refer to the latest rule book, available on
our event website, in order to avoid any confusion.
An important instruction to the offline and live
stream event participants:
➢ Registration is mandatory for live stream events
Registration for live stream events closes on 10th
February 2021
➢ Last date to summit offline event works:14th February 2021
➢ Participants should send their works to [email protected] or
enclose the work in registration form
➢ Name of the participant, event name, department, college
name should be added in the mail
➢ Participants are kindly requested to give your details
with care to prompt delivery of Your certificates
➢ The attachments are preferably to be as Images and Videos
➢ The winners selection method will be mentioned in the
event rules separately .
➢ E-certificates will be provided to all the participants
One can participate in many events but only one entry per
event is allowed
➢ Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, if found then the
entry will be disqualified and won’t receive any E-
certificates

participate in the team events whereas for solo events
individual payment should be done

PAPER PRESENTATION
(Live stream event)
➢ Maximum number of participants in a team is THREE.
➢ Papers need to be sent in the specified & suggested areas
only.
➢ Please mail your abstract to the respective mail-id.
➢ The mail id should contain the following:
1) Title of the Paper
2) Name of the Participants
➢ Abstract should not exceed 1 page and paper should not
exceed 10 pages.
➢ The teams will get 10 minutes for presentation followed
by a question and answer session.
➢ The decision of judges will be final and no arguments or
appeal will be entertained.
➢ There should be a minimum of 10 slides and it should not
exceed 20.

PROJECT / IDEA PRESENTATION

➢ Your presentation should be 15 minutes long with time (5
minutes) for questions afterward.
➢ Maximum number of participants is Three . Each member of
your group (if your project is a group project) must play
a significant role in the presentation.
➢ Please mail your abstract along with the objective of the
project not exceeding 1 page to the respective mail-id.
➢ The mail id should contain the following:
1) Title of the Paper along with a 1 line objective
2) Name of the Participants
3) Email Id & Mobile Number of the Authors
4) Year of study, department and College of the
Authors.
➢ Start with an outline and end with a conclusion. At the
beginning of your presentation, let your panel members
know what to expect; at the end, concisely review what
you’ve done.
➢ The decision of judges will be final and no arguments or

➢ Should use waste materials to bring out a new object /
material related to the technical field.
Example: Can use waste sticks and cardboard to make a clock.
➢ Should be creative and innovative.
➢ It can be any type of scrap.
➢ No teamwork. The work should be individual.
➢ It will be rejected if it is not taken from scrap/ waste
materials.
➢ A page write up about the work is necessary to be sent to
the respective mail-id.
➢ The mail with submissions should contain:
1) Title of the work
2) Materials used to make the work
3) Name of the participant
4) Phone numbers of the participant
5) Year of study, department and College Name of the
participant.
➢ The participants should capture the images ( Max 4 images )
of the work made and send it to the respective mail Id.

"Let the music speak"
Round 1:
➢ 3 members per team.
➢ Each team will be asked 3 questions.
➢ Guess the Tamil song from the translated English
lyrics.
➢ 40 seconds will be given.
Round 2:
➢ There will be both English and Tamil lyrics of
that Tamil song.
➢ In that team members have to find the missing
words within the time limit.
NOTE:
1.The teams selected in round 1 will go to round 2.
2.Juries decisions will be final, teams not following this will
be disqualified

Round 1-WORD BUILDING:
➢ Individual participation.
➢ 5 seconds time for each one.
➢ The participants wants to tell the word related
to the given word.
EG: Dark bright sun yellow.
Round 2: ENGTAM or TAMENG
➢ Individual participants

➢ Either English word or Tamil word is given, the
participants must continue the chain with Tamil
and English words alternatively.

➢ For each team, we will ask 3 questions from the
ad.
➢ Answer them within 15 secs.

➢ No team formation (individual event).
➢ Rules list will be shown one by one in the screen for
10sec for all participants.
➢ Break the given rules within the time of 10 sec and the
time is given for each participant.
