Physical Education SBA

Rondell James completed an SBA for his physical education class on his role as the coach for the Grenada Boys Secondary School inter-house football competition. As the coach, his responsibilities included planning sessions, making tactical decisions, and evaluating team performance. He chose this role because he was confident in his ability to manage a team and wanted to learn more about the level of responsibility required of a coach. Although his team did not win any games, Rondell learned a lot from the experience and now better understands the effort that coaches put into each match.

Physical education

Physical education is a course taught in school that

focuses on developing physical fitness and the ability to
perform and enjoy day-to-day physical activities with
ease. PE improves motor skills and increases muscle
strength and bone density, which in turn makes students
more likely to engage in healthy activity outside of
school. ... It also helps to maintain their brain and
mental health.

History of football

Modern football originated in Britain in the 19th

century. Since before medieval times, “folk football”
games had been played in towns and villages according
to local customs and with a minimum of rules. ... Thus,
the “handling” game of rugby remained outside the
newly formed Football Association (FA).

Refection
In our physical education class this year, we decided to do a sba on football
or soccer and hold matches with all of the color houses at our school. We
were given different types of roles to do, and my role as coach gave me the
opportunity to manage my team, such as making sure they warm up for
each match before they play, and working with the team manager on the
roster of who will play the game. I had a great time with my teammates and
classmates; we did not win a game but we gave it our all. I learned a lot
from this, and I now understand how much effort the coach and his crew
put in for each game

Expectations

What i expect from this class is to get an understanding of physical

education and to help other students understand that fitness is a key part of
life and many of us need to show them why i also want more people to do
this subject because it is very fun and keeps the blood pumpin

Conclusion

In this year's class of 2022, I did my best to fulfill my job as a

coach for this year's Grenada boys inter-house tournament,
which was an interesting event for which I learned a lot. To
conclude my S B A, I'd like to thank my teacher and parents
for encouraging me to achieve my best.
