The five sources I have found through scholarly and popular sources have assisted me in
clarifying a direction for my signature assignment. Most of these sources are published by
professionals studying Zen Buddhism such as Martin Jutras (also referred to as Fuyu) who is a a
lay Zen teacher. I have gotten much more comfortable with this topic compared to when I
brainstormed an idea three weeks ago. I have found four scholarly sources and one popular
source which I believe are sufficient trustworthy articles and journals to compose my final
signature assignment. I am excited to continue researching as we near the end of the seven
weeks.
