EXPERIENCES

ARCIAGA, KRISTINE- As an entrepreneur, I would say that festival of sales was an amazing

and great experience for me it was a very fun activity and at the same time it taught me how to

budget money, communicate with other people, to my co-workers and customers. In this activity

I learn how to be qualified, trained and to become more efficient in business, this activity taught

me how to become wise in making decisions and to be able to solve problems, I was very happy

to serve our customers and to have a great teamwork in our business. I also learned to become a

risk taker to be able to make other people happy and to make money at the same time that

increased my strategies and also assumes the risks of a business or enterprise.

CRUZ, EZEKIEL ANSHERINA- It really takes a lot of time and effort to start a business. The

day where in the festival of sales begins, we used the proceeds of our sale to purchase new or

innovative products to sell. Knowing the products of our competitors and the needs and want of

our target market, we decided to come up with milkshake and mac and cheetos. I was assigned to

market our product and it was a great experience. We satisfy our customers’ expectations in our

product because it was surprisingly tasty. We were able to capture the market of high school

students as well as those senior high school students and we were able to generate profit. On the

day of our selling activity, we put all our efforts and skills to sell and make everything that we

have in our inventory. This selling experience was quite fun yet so tiring but we were able to

learn how to be entrepreneur for even a short time and that’s a credit to our subject teacher.

Indeed, I have been able to expand my general knowledge related to entrepreneurship, meet new

people, open my mind, improve myself as a person and able to create a small business in the

future.

JACOB, DANIELA- Selling and producing products in this kind of event at our young age was

so great. Although I was a shy person and not really like to communicate with others by selling, I

and my groupmates did it well so far. Starting to create this kind of small business was very well.

We've been through a lot of struggles such as we had a lack in materials and we really don't

know where we going to sell the leftovers of those crashed ice. The booth that we were located

was so small, it's really difficult to move since there's a lot of sellers inside. We feel the pressure

when there's a lot of customers outside of our booth, since we only had 2 blenders which is not

suitable for 3 flavors, I gave way for them to move easily and to blend milkshakes faster. We

didn't have a good measuring cups for the powder so that we couldn't measure it so well that

caused a lack of shakes powder. We earned an exact amount not totally an exact amount but, it's

really okay at least we satisfied people's cravings and we met our goals for just a short time. At

the end, there's still a customer who want to buy but unfortunately, we didn’t make it because

there's no more shake powders so we told them to buy in other booth. It was so fun yet tiring

event but it's really worth it. Our efforts were payed off in the end. This event helps us to become

a good owner, to manage a business well, to make a good decision and to balance time.

MANITO, DEANNACE- As a cashier, I can say that it is so hard to be a cashier because when

the time that we start selling our product we do not have enough coins to give their change. We

experience also some circumstances in selling our product because in the beginning there's a lot

of Senior High School students who wants to buy our product. Also, we enjoy the Festival of

Sales because we have time to have a bonding. We enjoy that Festival because we experience

those things even though it so hard for us. We help each other in selling our product. Being an

entrepreneur is an experience unlike any other. You must relentlessly chase perfection. You need

a ridiculous amount of passion. You have to be able to adapt to crazy, unexpected things. And

above all, you must provide something incredible to your customers. Running your own

successful business probably won’t turn out exactly how you imagined but that doesn’t mean it

can’t turn out even better than you imagined!

MERANO, KATRINA- Attending the festival of sales is very unforgettable experienced. This

event helps us to experience on how to be an entrepreneur and how business works. I learned a

lot in this activity. We planned carefully what ingredients and materials we should use. I

experienced managing the money and how we will price our product. I've experienced to

formulate a self-made product and able to sell it to the market. At first, it is hard to market it due

to the poor interest we are getting from the target markets. Eventually, we succeed on selling all

of our products because of our teamwork. All of our hardship turned into happiness. It is a big

achievement to that we end successfully.

ARTAMIA, VICTOR LEO- I experience how to save money, budgeting our money to buy

specific things. I learn to commute with other people even though I hate communicate with other

people but I'm lucky because I experience to attend this festival so I can more improve my skills

on marketing and about business strategy. Selling product is not easy but we help each other to

build a team so we can make it easily. I have a memorable school year because of this festival.

We are happy that our products are sold out. I learn that smiling is the best way to convince the

buyer to buy our product

DIZON, JOMEL- What I have experienced in selling the product how you can make a profit on

the money you've invested and how it has grown. l also learned how to communicate with other

people. it is not easy to sell the product because you really need exert more effort in encouraging

consumers but because we have been able to cooperate with another, we've made our sale easier.

through selling l have learned how much worth the time is and learned not to waste it. we have to

manage our time and organize our schedule daily because every moment that we have is

important. after all, I am happy on this activity as I meet a lot and new people, and the most

important thing we must remember to make the business grower is to be positive in all thing and

struggles that we may possibly face throughout the business journey and never ever forget to

smile whatever you are carrying on your back.

LINCALLO, JONETTE- The festival of sales was so fun. I was one of the members who do

the milkshakes and it so stressful because there are a lot of customers who ordered our product.

We were so in rushed in doing each one of milkshakes but we make sure that we make it

perfectly according to our recipe. We had problems when it comes to having only 3 blenders, we

did not have the cooler for the crashed ice and there are left overs of the crashed ice at the end of

the festival. We did not mind those problems all we do is do our best to meet our goals that day.

In terms of the left-over crashed ice, we sell it at 50 pesos, not bad, at least we did not waste it. In

when it comes to our customers, not only students who ordered from us but also teachers and

was really fun. It is very heartwarming every time we interact with the customers who wants to

buy from us, because we did not expect that number of customers. And because of that we are

the first product that is sold out among our section. I learned many things by doing this kind of

activity and takes to the person/s who make that kind of festival sales make happened. It gives us

ABM students to experience transaction with customers like we are in a true business. I learned

how hard to be a business owner but all those hardships are worth it because we just not gain

profit, we also build trust and to work together as a team.

MAGDAONG, FRANCIS DAVE- I've learned a lot of things in selling and promoting our

product last Friday. There are a lot of first time happened that day. It was my first time giving

out brochures/flyers to all those people who attended the festival. It saddens me when i see some

of them don't visit our stall like they disregard the flyers we're giving to them. sad. but there were

actually some of them who visited our stall and tried our products. It is also funny that some of

them even summon their friends and told them to try our products. I didn't think that there'd be a

lot of people who will buy to our stall. I had so much fun doing this. really. This event helped me

gain confidence and taught me how to be responsible in promoting your product/business.

MARTIN, BEA BERNADET- I am happy that I experienced the festival of sales and these

event makes me think what will be the outcome when I become an entrepreneur someday, it’s

not easy to convince the people to buy our product but it makes me happy when the customers

smiled and they looked really satisfied when they tasted our product, and I learned that I should

be more flexible to make my task better, to be independent, to communicate with others and but

the most important thing to do is to continue improving my skills, and to learn more strategies

about businesses to expand my knowledge about it. And last thing to do is to be the best version

of myself whenever what I am doing.

ANGELES, JEAN-There's a lot of things that I learned in participating on festival of sales that

can build me up or trained me as a successful entrepreneur someday. Furthermore, I made the

choice of being in a group with creative people to enhance my learning in this field. I used to

regret this choice but, after having thought about it, it is something which was beneficial for me

in a lot of ways. Creativity is really important in business.

ARCIBAL, EVITA AMOR- I am assigned as the one who will give flyers to the customers, it

was difficult because some students keep on rejecting me whenever I give them our flyer. But on

the other hand, it was fun because it helps us to promote our products. I also learned that

although it was hard, it is all worth it.

BERNAL, GLYSA MARIE- This event was such a great experience and opportunity to us to

know more about selling and running a business. Our group went through a lot of hardships and

fun times. At first, we were excited because we are doing to finally get to experience selling and

convincing people to buy from us. We also get to experience how to budget our capital and count

our profit at the end of the event. At the start of the event, we already had hardships because

some of the materials that we need are incomplete but we cooperated and figured out a way to

solve our problem. I experienced promoting and marketing our product to a lot of people. But

I'm still happy that we got a lot of customers and we earned a lot. It was really satisfying to count

the money that we worked so hard to earn.

BUENO, EMIRINE KATE- My experiences at festival of sales was so stressful but fun. I

experience a lot of things like budgeting, making products, and selling. I learned that if you want to

start a business you have to be financially, mentally, and physically ready because of a lot of

circumstances especially because it is our first time at opening a business. First you have to be very

hands on at your product, you have to make sure to make a quality product for your target

customers, second you have to plan the price of the product so that you'll know if your business is

profitable. Third one is we accept in ourselves that not everybody will buy our product so we prepare

ourselves not to get hurt. But at the end of the day, being an entrepreneur was so fun, we learn and

experience a lot of things that I'll cherish for the rest of my life
University of Perpetual Help System Laguna - JONELTA

SABAN, ROWIELYN- Attending the festival of sales such a very helpful for us. It helps us to

know the positive and negative will happened in making business. We actually don’t expect that

our product will click on our costumer because they can’t really know that kind of our product,

they think that our product is “kwek-kwek” but still we are proud to ourselves and to our product

and to the uniqueness of it.

VIRAY, TERESIA- At first, I was really nervous because we have many competitors and I

think that their foods are better than ours. But my faith began and I really want to be successful

in this activity. I am proud to present our own Mac and Cheetos because I know that it is

delicious and unique from others. We offer our food by talking and being nice to our customers

and luckily, they bought and enjoyed our food. I am happy that we satisfy our customers in our

product. We gain profit because our capital is just small. I am indeed sure that our Mac and

Cheetos will be loved by the consumers.
