PROJECT TITLE: SBP National Accreditation/Renewal of Accreditation of Referees

PARTICIPANTS: City of Mati SBP Referees and Commissioner

TARGET DATE: October 21-23, 2022

I. RATIONALE

To ensure the continuing thrust to improve more the professionalism standards and
consequently step up the level of competition of the Filipino basketball leagues in Mati City, the
Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) City of Mati will attend the 2022 SBP National
Accreditation/Renewal of Accreditation of Referees from October 21 to 23.

After successfully officiating the Mati Basketball League Inter-Barangay Branches, SBP Mati
City believes that it needs to step up to the next level as it prepares for the coming Sambuokan
Rajah Sportsfest Inter-Barangay Division.

SBP Mati City believes that the only way for its performance to improve is to participate in the
annual Accreditation of Referees and eventually deliver quality service to the entire basketball in
Mati City.

II. OBJECTIVES

1. Improve the competence of regular SBP referees and to discover fresh talents who will officiate
in the most popular sport in the country
2. Review and update of the rules and interpretations of the International Basketball Federation or
the FIBA

III. PARTICIPANTS

Please see attached list of SBP Referees.


IV. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

BUDGET ITEM AMOUNT

TRANSPORTATION (Mati-Davao and vice-versa) 29 x 400 x 2 = PHP 23,200.00

MEALS 29 x 100 x 7 = PHP 20,300.00

REGISTRATION 29 x 1500 = PHP 43,500.00

ACCOMMODATION 29 x 300 x 2 = PHP 17,400.00

TOTAL PHP 104,400.00
