The game lasts 7 rounds, each containing 7 tricks. Each round you will bid how many tricks you

can only be used once.

1
3.1 Rounds 1-6 set up
Shuffle the 9 Auto-Cards of the Auto-Deck, keeping them face down, and discard the top two
cards of the Auto-Dec, placing them into “Round’s unused Auto-Cards” area.
Place the 7 card Auto-Deck in its area.

Draw 8 cards from the deck of cards into your hand. Place one of the 8 into the 7th Hand
Reserve, which will make up your hand for the 7th round. The suit of the card you placed in
the 7th Hand Reserve is also the Trump suit for this round, place the corresponding Suit Token
in the “Round’s Tricks, Bid and Trump” area.

Choose which bid amount you will aim for this round, by placing the corresponding Bid Token
into the “Round’s Tricks, Bid and Trump” area.

3.2 Rounds 7 set up

Prep the 9 Auto-Cards as in rounds 1-6.

Take the 6 cards in the 7th Hand Reserve and draw a single card from the last 4 remaining from
deck (discard the rest). This card from the deck is the Trump Suit of the 7th round. Place the
Suit Token and your choice of the last two remaining Bid Tokens to the “Round’s Tricks, Bid
and Trump” area.

3.3 Gameplay
Jacks, Queens, Kings, are considered 11, 12, 13, with Aces being high.

Each round you will lead the first trick, and play 7 tricks in total, with the winner of each trick
leading the next one.

Each trick consists of one of your cards and one of the Auto-Cards being played, both cards are
then compared. The highest rank of the round’s Trump suit wins the trick, if no cards of the
Trump suit is played, the highest rank of the suit of the first card played in the trick wins. On
occasion you and the Auto-Deck may both play a card of the same suit and rank,
in which case who ever played the first card wins the trick.

If you lead the trick, you play any card from your hand onto the table (“Current Trick” area),
the Auto-Deck will play the first card, from the top down, that matches the suit of the card you
played. Reveal the top card of the Auto-Deck, check its suit, if its suit matches your card, the
Auto-Deck plays that card, otherwise reveal the next card, preserving the order of the Auto-
Cards (stack them, in order, in the ”Auto-Card try to play” area), and check the suit of the
next card. Repeat until an Auto-Card of the same suit as your card is revealed, that Auto-Card
is compared to yours, with the higher rank of the two winning the trick. Any revealed cards can
be left face up (with their order preserved), so you do not have to memorise the order of the
Auto-Cards.

If the Auto-Deck does not have a card of the same suit, then the card that was on top of the deck
at the start of the round (its top card) gets played. Compare suits and ranks, as the Auto-Card
may be of the Trump suit.

2
As some of the Auto-Cards do not have a set suit, some cards can be multiple suits. Thus if
any of the suits an Auto-Card could be match the suit of the leading card, then the Auto-Card
automatically is that suit.

When the Auto-Deck leads the trick, it will play its top card to lead the trick, if that card could
be multiple suits, then you choose which of the suits it is to respond to. For example if the
Auto-Card suit is ”RED”, you must play either a Diamonds or a Hearts card in response (if you
have one in your hand). If you do not have any cards of the suit(s) of the leading Auto-Card,
you will play any card from your hand. Compare suits and ranks as you might play a Trump suit.

After each trick is played, place the cards into the “Round’s Tricks, Bid and Trump”” area,
with each subsequent trick, to the right of the first trick. Use this space to keep track of what
tricks you have won and lose, by having the won trick higher on the table and the lost tricks
lower, (alternatively won tricks can be portrait and lost tricks landscape). Keep the each card
you have played in the previous tricks visible, as the some Auto-cards will reference them.

3.4 End of round

The difference of your bid and the tricks you won is your score for this round, and is added to
you game score. Move your score tracker on the score board.
For example: if your bid was 5, but you only won 3 tricks, then your score would be 2 points.
Take all of your cards this round and discard them into the discard pile.
Collect all 9 Auto-Cards and shuffle them.
Discard the bid token and place the trump suit token back into the “Player Deck & Tokens”
area.
Start the next round.

3.5 End of game

After the 7th round the game is over and your will have your final score.

If you have achieved 0 points, you win with perfect score.

If you have achieved 1-2 points, you win with Gold.
If you have achieved 3-5 points, you win with Silver.
If you have achieved 6-9 points, you win with Bronze.

4 Auto-Cards
1. Suit: FIRST. Rank: 8.
The suit of the FIRST card you play this round, as you always lead the first trick of a round,
you will set this card’s suit. The rank is always set at 8.

2. Suit: LAST. Rank: 11.

The suit of the LAST card you played. Do not count the current trick unless this card is drawn
in the first trick of the round. The rank is always set at 11.

3. Suit: TRUMP. Rank: 4.

4. Suit: MOST. Rank: last.

The suit of the MOST common suit(s) of your cards this round. This may be one of multiple
suits depending on your hand this round.
For example if you had 3 Hearts, and 3 Clubs, and 1 Spade in your hand at the start of the
round then this Auto-Card would count as a Club and/ or a Heart. If you were leading the trick
and led with a Clubs or Hearts suited card, then the Auto-Deck would be able to play this in
response. If the Auto-Deck led the trick, you must play a Hearts or a Clubs (if you have one)

Diamonds with zero. If the Auto-Deck led the trick, in this example, you could play any card
from your hand as you cannot follow suit.
The rank of this card is the same as the rank of card you played in the first trick of this round.

6. Suit: HIGH. Rank: hand lo.

For example, if you had the following ranks in your hand at the start of the round: K, K, 10,
9, 9, 9, 4, then the HIGHEST rank is K(ing), or 13, thus this Auto-Card would be the suit of
either Kings of your cards this round.
The rank of this card is the current lowest rank of the cards in your hand, including the card
you have/ will play for the current trick. Please note this is the lowest of your current hand,
not you 7 cards of this round, thus its rank is not fixed at the start of the round.

of multiple suits depending on your starting hand this round.
For example, if you had the following ranks in your hand at the start of the round: K, K, 10, 6,
4, 3, 3, then the LOWEST rank is the 3, thus this Auto-Card would be the suit of either 3’s of
your cards this round.

you have/ will play for the current trick. Please note this is the highest of your current hand,
not you 7 cards of this round, thus its rank is not fixed at the start of the round.
