The document describes Projecfit, a smartwatch with touch projector technology. Projecfit uses a 15-lumen scanned-laser projector and depth sensing array to project the watch interface onto the user's arm, providing a much larger interactive touchscreen than traditional smartwatch screens. It runs the Wear OS software and includes sensors for health monitoring, GPS, Bluetooth, and more. The projected interface is intended to address limitations of small smartwatch screens like limited visibility and interactivity in crowded settings.

D. Steps Counter
A wearable tracker continuously senses the movements of
the body on a 3 axis accelerometer. The data is recorded all
the time it is worn and powered up, which enables the tracker
to trace if the individual is walking forward, running fast, or
even standing still. All this data is stored in the tracker for
further processing. Processing occurs when the data is
transferred to the software associated with the fitness tracker
on the smartphone or laptop with which it is synced. [20]

vertical movement at the hip and thereby measure the

a large amount of heat and this kind of heat could be
dangerous for humans. However, by including the smallest V. FUTURE WORK

of smartwatches to make it affordable to everyone. development of technology, Project will need to be upgraded
to keep up with the competition. Thus, the following
additions could be made to further enhance our product.
The storage of Projecfit is limited to 2GB considering the
current applications. As time will pass by, people will expect
more from Projecfit and in order to make this possible we
shall be expanding the memory. This could be done by fitting
a Micro SD card which would then expand the memory to
32GB. Another upgrade could be to add a micro SIM card to
enhance the connectivity and making it virtually independent
of the phone.
IoT is getting popular with each passing day and to get a
better user experience, we could add a feature to control the
IoT appliances like air- conditioner, lighting and voice-
assistants through Projecfit itself. This would be enabled by
transmitting data to a cloud platform through a Wi-Fi router,
thereby turning their hands into remotes.
Although we have inculcated the best possible health
monitoring sensors in Projecfit, they have a big room for
improvement. A medical- grade ECG health monitor could
later be built into the device and you could expect our
product to become more and more of a biometric product on
the wrist.
Lastly, to take Projecfit further close to the smartphones
available today, a FaceID recognition could be added to the

for the users to unlock their smartwatches and would further
safeguard their data. This is a very ambitious addition and
could be hopefully be added with further improvements in
technology.
