Our beloved principal Dr. Jessa V.

Lobaton, our respective teachers, honorable guests, parents,

fellow graduates, friends, a very pleasant afternoon to all of you.

As I stand here today, I have mixed emotions as the six years of stay in Vito National High School
are coming to an end. A feeling of joy thinking about the first journey of education that we have taken
together, joyful that we had overcome the countless challenges we encountered that helped us of what
we are today and a feeling of sadness for we will be leaving our dear Alma Mater and dedicated high
school teachers who did their utmost effort to ensure our success.

We were in grade 10 when the pandemic began to hit our country. We were all afraid and
anxious of what will happen next. But the Department of Education did their very best, for us to keep on
learning from home. Our school has also extended much effort through its learning continuity plan just
to reach out all the students even those who are staying at the remotest areas like sitio tu-ong, Brgy
Plaridel and Matabas island. Much opportunities were also given to those who were stranded in other
cities. We spent 2 years reading and answering our modules. We learn on our own pace. Sometimes we
were afraid to ask something from our subject teachers because we think that they’re busy and that we
can’t interrupt them. To all the sleepless nights that we endured. To the problems that we just laughed,
and the times that we stayed silent if when we were nervous about our grades. They were all worth it.
They are worth the risk.

My fellow graduates, this is it! We are now at the end of our journey and the beginning of the
new chapter in lives. As we take our different paths. I challenge all of you that we should strive harder
and achieve the goals we ever wanted. For the Lord will surely guide us if we ask His guidance.
(Philippians 4:13 says, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. All of us can be great
someday. So, I ask all of you to do your best in everything that you do. Do not let criticisms and the
opinions of others affect you. And even if you don’t achieve your goal right away, you will eventually get
it in the right time. For what is for you, will always find you.

I am much honored to stand before all of you here today not only because of the award that I
have garnered but also because I am part of a truly outstanding batch- a batch that has achieved so
much, a batch of talented in individual fields.

With this, let me thank some of the people who have made my achievements possible. I may
not be able to mention all of you by name, but rest assured that I am definitely grateful to everyone who
has put me on this stage today.

I would like to thank God first and foremost. Without Him, none of these would have made
possible.

I would also like to thank my parents, Mr. Masculino and Mrs Gemma Boliboli. All of these
achievements are not only mine, but also theirs, because without their hard work and encouragement, I
am most likely a failure today. Thank you, Ma and Pa, for letting me extend my horizons and aspire to be
the best that I can be. Thank you for giving me the opportunities to explore and discover my full
potential in all aspects of my life but always with your supervision and guidance;

To my teachers, thank you so much for straightening my perspective when I fearfully glanced to
the side and tried to hide my thoughts with in my shell and although I am far from perfect, I believe that
I have become a better person than before. Thank you for helping me and giving me inspiration when I
needed it most;

To all my friends, classmates or not, thank you for sticking with me through thick and thin.
Thank you for believing in me even when I did not believe in myself. Thank you for giving me one of the
most unforgettable moments in my life. It has been an honor to get to know all of you. To my 5 besties,
Casey, Shaine, Merry, Mae Ann and Lyca. Thank you for listening to my rants and problems; it eased the
loads that I have been carrying throughout my journey;

And to my fellow graduates never quench your desire to continue schooling. Let us follow the
guidance of the Lord, the advices of our parents and those people who have cared for us. I know that
they will lead and direct us into the right path. We should bear in mind what Ralph Waldo said: ‘’Do not
follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail’’. Let us not only
dream big, let us dream grandly. Let us not only reach for the mountaintop, let us reach for the stars.
Always remember to Live, Love and Laugh.

Thank you and good afternoon once again!
