BUSINESS PLAN OF JUST NOW SECURITY

BACKGROUND

The founder of the company Mr Justice Siliga-formed the company in 2012.


JUST NOW security was formed after the owner worked three years as an officer for VIP
standby security. He realised that his company would empower him and give him the
opportunity to employ and uplift the surrounding communities. Thus, he would bring hope to a
previously hopeless community; also contribute to the safety and security of the
neighbourhoods in which the company operates, thus bringing down crime and poverty. The
founder mobilised a team of experienced former officers that has over years collectively gained
a wealth of experience that is unequalled as well as irreplaceable.

RECRUITMSNT APPROACH

- At - Security, we are particularly aware that the success of a service provider relies not only on
attracting quality personnel, but also on selecting people best suited to each client's individual
needs. We are also acutely aware that security personnel are often the first to project your
clients and the last to bid them farewell. In short, they have the project the right image.
The experience and expect ice of our directors in security will enable you to recognise the
required attribute of quality security personnel. Such attribute includes the ability to
communicate well, interact effectively with people and to operate technologically. These
personnel will be fully vetted and tested prior to selection for training.
MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

- Management support is one of the most important factors to ensure an effective and
professional service.
• Weekly meetings - Every Mondays a management meeting is held to assess the level of
service in terms of the service level agreement upon and to look at recommendations
and improvement to the overall service. If correct standards are not met, action to
address the specific performance is taken and necessary procedure implemented.
• Monthly Meetings - On the 25th of every month a meeting is held with management and
all supervisors of the various posts to discuss problems that have occurred and possible
solutions to the problems. This meeting is regarded as very important and all the
supervisors have to be present so as to collectively do problem solving with the help of
management.
• Management visits - The director and the general manager visit the site twice a week if
possible. They assess the service and provide inputs, support where needed.

MARKET ANALYSIS

- Security is marketing its services to church groups, societies, flyers, billboards, individual VIP,
Government, Corporate and families. All families within a 5 - 10 km radius.  Stay at-home
mothers and those who work from home would be a primary target market for VIP and
escorting.

3 Service Business Analyses


The VIP and corporate development ‘industry is a rapidly growing industry.  The focus on the
wellbeing of directors, actors and families to leave in safe, protected places becomes more
important as the world around us becomes less stable.  Parents look for places to entertain and
educate their youngsters that involve fun, active, safe social environments. 
5.2 Development Requirements
The Company will increase its presence on the web by promoting the site during the Advertising
Campaigns and giving clients the ability to request security service and paying online. The
Company plans to tie-into social media sites to expand our presence on the web to our targeted
customer base.
6.1 SWOT Analysis:
1. The office and its location, quick armed respond, highly trained personnel at reasonable cost,
2. Patrol for different type of events for corporate and government, and social activities.
3. Weakness is lacking the funds to launch and grow the business.
The Company’s strengths will help it capitalize on emerging opportunities. These opportunities
include, but are not limited to, increase services to current customers, expand the security
equipment’s.
6.1.2 Weaknesses
- Security weaknesses come from the lack of funding to grow the business.

- In-house ICASA Licence.
Additionally, Grant Funds will be used to launch our advertising campaign for our grand
opening and introducing our facility and services to the residents of the Area of operation.

Security has the following Opportunities for future growth:
 Increase services to current customers - The Company would like to introduce training
facilities.
• Protection and specialised courier and tourist guide services.
• Strategic alliances offering sources for referrals and joint marketing activities.

- The only threat Security has is a lack of funding.
- Additionally, the owner and managers need to keep up with current market trends in the
security industry,
- Security has the following competition within the Province of Gauteng:
• High level of security companies in the industry
• Long waiting period for licence e.g. ICASA and firearm licence
• Access to mainstream business opportunities
6.3 Marketing Strategy:
1. Introduce unique security equipment’s to detect and prevent crime before it occurs and
programs throughout the Country.
2. Launch an aggressive advertising campaign utilizing a combination of print, television and
radio ads. 
3. Offering discounts to clients to bringing more than one business sites. 
4. The Company will work with local radio to put together a short commercial to air on local
Channel every month. 
5. The Company would place advertisements in two major Newspapers in Gauteng and the
whole country.
2.2 Start-up Summary:
- Security was established in 2012 Bouncer Organization. The Company is anticipating
receiving Grant Funding in the amount of R, 200 000 in June 2020. Start-up expenses will occur
in July with the company because the company being operational.
 The Company will have start-up expenses totalling R42, 000. The Company will have a Retail
