change in the atmosphere.
D. Lesson proper
Okay class, listen attentively because I will
explain to you what is weather and what are
the types of weather here in the Philippines.
Weather is the state of the atmosphere at any
given period of time. The atmosphere is made
up of the gasses, like oxygen, that surround the
Earth. What is happening in the atmosphere is
the weather. Weather includes several different
factors that we can measure.
Okay class, have you ever watched the weather
forecast on the news or online?
What kind of things do they tell us?
Alright, so, most weather forecasts will tell us
what the temperature will be, if it's going to
rain or if there will be a storm, and whether it
will be windy or sunny. Those factors combine
together to make the weather.
So, class right now, I will show you different Students will answer.
pictures, we will enumerate and discuss the 4
types of weather here in the Philippines.
(Pictures will be shown to the students)
Students will answer.
Did you understand what weather is?
Now, with the same group, I want you to
describe the weather that is assigned to you in
a creative way. You can make a poem, you can
dramatize it, or you could make a story about
it. Just be creative and have fun. Group red will
describe ‘Sunny’ weather, blue will have
‘Rainy’ weather, yellow will be ‘Stormy’
weather, and blue will be ‘Windy’ weather.
You will perform it in front. I will give you 10
minutes for it. Your 10 minutes starts now!
