Mounting your security camera
Components
1. Rotatable mounting. For mounting and adjusting the direction of your security camera
2. Holding. Fixes the security camera onto a wall or ceiling.
3. Nail holder. Used on concrete walls.
4. Nail x 3. For fixing the holding.
Step 1 - Fix the holding
Fix the holding onto your desired location with the nails given. For example, a wall or ceiling.
Step 2 - Mount your security camera
If you intend to mount your security camera onto a wall, please make sure that the rotatable mounting is installed on
the bottom of the camera. Note the text direction of your security camera. If your security camera is installed the
wrong way around, an upside down image will be recorded.
If you intend to hang your security camera over a ceiling, please make sure that the rotatable mounting is installed
on the top of the camera. Note the text direction of your security camera. If your security camera is installed the
wrong way around, an upside down image will be recorded.
Step 3 - Put it together
Tighten the rotation axis on the rotatable mounting so it can be combined with the holding.
Combine the rotatable mounting with the holding.
Step 4 - Adjust the direction of your security camera
Loosen the rotation axis to adjust the direction for your security camera.
When you have found a suitable direction, tighten the rotation axis again.
The general concept of installing pinhole cameras
Drill a hole through the wall so the lens is exposed to the environment you intend to monitor. Attach the hidden
camera onto the wall with tape or other suitable securing materials.

Step 1 - Connect the power
Security camera with internal AC adapter can be plugged directly into your mains power.
Security cameras without internal AC adapter must be connected to an AC adapter before it can be plugged into the
mains power.
Power socket on your security camera. Power connector on your AC adapter.
Step 2 - Connect video signal
Female F connector on your security camera. Male F connector on the AV wire.
Step3 - Install your lens
If you security camera is lens replaceable, please remember to install your lens.
Rotate and tighten the lens onto the security camera.
If your lens supports auto iris function, don't forget to connect the auto iris connector onto the security camera.

Parts
Connectors on the host machines varies according to their type
and model. The following are the most common connectors.
Female BNC connector
Seen on most DVR and DVR cards. Used for video signal
(Security camera, Television) and audio signal connection
(Microphone).
Female RCA connector
Several DVR card models use RCA connector for video signal
connection.
3.5mm connector
Found on most PC sound cards or onboard sound cards. For
audio signal connection.

The AV wires coming from Security cameras and microphones has Male RCA connectors. They can be plugged
into the host via different types of converters.

Connecting the wireless module
Accessories
1. Receiver ( Receives wireless video and audio signals).
2. Transmitter (Transmits wireless video and audio signals).
3. RCA-RCA wires x 2(For connecting video and audio signals to the host).
4. Wall mounting plate x 2(Mounts the device on wall).
5. Antenna x 2(Transmits and Receives signals).
6. 12V/500mA AC adapter (Transmitter power supply).
7. 9V/300mA AC adapter (Receiver power supply).
Step1 - Setup the transmitter
This is a transmitter. Please don't mistake this as the receiver which looks very similar to the the transmitter.
Connect the video signal coming from the security camera to the video connector (yellow).
• Power socket for 12V/500mA AC adapter
• Antenna socket.
Connect the antenna and 12V/500mA AC adapter to the transmitter.
Step 2 - Setup the receiver
• Power socket for 9V/300mA AC adapter.
• Antenna socket.
Connect the antenna and 9V/300mA AC adapter to the receiver.
Connect the video port (yellow) with the rca-rca cable. The other end of this cable will be connected to the host.
Please make sure that your transmitter and it's corresponding receiver are set to the same channel. If you are using
more then one pair of wireless module, please make sure each wireless module has it's own channel.
