Sixth Form Dress Code


Students who enter the Sixth Form as young adults within the school community must
understand the importance of acting as role models. They are expected to set an
example to the rest of the school, whilst enjoying the privilege of expressing
themselves more independently.

Sixth formers are expected to dress in keeping with their place in a school where
uniform is worn throughout Years 7 to 11.

Acceptable: Unacceptable:

 Lanyard to be worn at all times  Headphones / earphones and

If a student is concerned about the appropriateness of their clothing choices they


should consult the Head of Sixth Form or Head of Year 12/13 for guidance. Our
dress code is not intended to be prescriptive, merely to indicate the ethos of the
school and to support students through their Sixth Form years and prepare them for
the world of work. Students will be asked to leave the premises and go home to
change if their standard of dress is unacceptable and will be given a CCU of 30
minutes.
