Äsana Sthäpana (Establishing a Place for Worship)

Chant oà asträya phaö and purify the floor by prokñaëa.
Place the äsana on the floor. Chant oà asträya phaö and purify the äsana by prokñaëa. Then
show the cakra and dhenu-mudräs.
Joining the palms in the praëäma-mudrä, chant:
påthvi tvayä dhåtä lokä devi tvaà viñëunä dhåtä
tvaà ca dharäya mäà nityaà pavitraà cäsanaà kuru
O Mother Earth, O goddess, you support all the world’s people, and Lord Viñëu sustains you; please be merciful
today and support me as I sit to worship the Lord.
Thinking that Çréla Prabhupäda is sitting on an äsana to perform the worship, sit on your own
äsana.

2. Arranging the Paraphernalia for Worship (pātra-sthāpana)

Arrange the items in such a way that you can easily reach them without touching offered to
unoffered items. The items has to be arranged as per the sodasopachara checklist in the puja room.
(This can be arranged one day earlier also)

3. Viçeña-arghya Sthäpana
• Set the conch in place on its stand and fill it
with fresh water from a waterpot with a spout.
After pouring a few drops of water from the
waterpot onto the fingers of your right hand,
purify the conch by prokñaëa:
Chant oà asträya phaö and sprinkle water on
the conch.
• Over the conch show the cakra-mudrä, then
the gäliné-mudrä, then the dhenu or surabhi-
mudrä.
• Invoke the Gaìgä and other holy rivers by showing the aìkuça-mudrä and chanting:
gaìge ca yamune caiva godävari sarasvati
narmade sindho käveri jale 'smin sannidhià kuru
May water from the holy rivers Gaìgä, Yamunä, Godavaré, Sarasvaté, Narmadä, Sindhu, and
Käveré kindly be present.
• Then invoke the müla-mantra kléà kåñëäya namaù or Gäyatré of the main Deity into the
water, chanting it eight times while holding the béjäkñara-mudrä over the conch. Then show the
matsya-mudrä.

• Chant while ringing the bell ete gandha-puñpe and the müla-mantra kléà kåñëäya namaù
for the main Deity, and offer flower petals and candana to the Lord in the viçeña-arghya.
(Alternative: Establish and worship the viçeña-arghya in a waterpot and then pour it into the
conch for bathing and into the vessels for padya, arghya, and äcamana.)
• Then pour some of the viçeña-arghya water from the conch into the païca-pätra, thus
transforming the remaining samänya-arghya into viçeña-arghya.
• Finally, from the païca-pätra, with the spoon pour some viçeña-arghya water into your right
hand and sprinkle it over yourself and the paraphernalia while chanting the müla-mantra of the
main Deity you are worshiping.

4. Ätma-Çuddhi (Purifying Oneself by Sprinkling Water)

Perform prokñaëa by sprinkling yourself lightly with sämänya-arghya water while chanting the
gopäla-mantra (the sixth guru-given mantra) once.

5. Bhüta-Çuddhi (Purifying the bodily elements)

Bhüta-Çuddhi is the purification of the bodily elements by identifying oneself as the eternal
servant of the servant of Lord Kåñëa. Recite the following prayers, meditating on their
meaning:(very important)
I am by nature the eternal servant of Kåñëa. But because of my bad fortune, I have
been inimical toward Him from time immemorial, and thus I have identified myself with
my body and continuously wandered in the cycle of birth and death in the material
world, suffering the burning threefold miseries. Now, as a result of some unimaginable
good fortune, my spiritual master’s mercy has enabled me to know that I am Kåñëa’s
eternal servant, an infinitesimal spiritual being completely apart from the gross and
subtle body. And so by the order of my spiritual master I have obtained the good
fortune of serving his lotus feet and, following in his footsteps, the lotus feet of Lord
Caitanya Mahäprabhu, Çré Çré Rädhä- Madhava and Çré Çré Nitäi Gauräìga.

nähaà vipro na ca nara-patir näpi vaiçyo na çüdro

nähaà varëé na ca gåha-patir no vana-stho yatir vä
kintu prodyan-nikhila-paramänanda-pürëämåtäbdher
gopé-bhartuù pada-kamalayor däsa-däsänudäsaù

I am not a brähmaëa, I am not a kñatriya, I am not a vaiçya or a çüdra. Nor am I a brahmacäré, a householder,
a vänaprastha, or a sannyäsé. I identify myself only as the servant of the servant of the servant of the lotus feet of
Lord Çré Kåñëa, the maintainer of the gopés. He is like an ocean of nectar, and He is the cause of universal
transcendental bliss. He is always existing with brilliance. [Padyävalé 74, quoted in the Caitanya-cäritämåta,

6. Guru-Paìkti-Namaskära
Draw the attention of Çréla Prabhupäda by placing flowers before him (puñpäïjali) while chanting
eña puñpäïjaliù (guru-müla-mantra)
Then, meditating on Çréla Prabhupäda’s service to the previous äcäryas, show the praëäma-mudrä
(joined palms), and chant:
çré guro paramänanda premänanda phala prada
vrajanända pradänanda seväyäà mä niyojaya
My dear spiritual master, who give the fruit of the highest bliss – the bliss of love of Godhead – please engage me
in the blissful service of Çré Kåñëa, who bestows bliss upon the land of Vraja.

7. Ghaëöä-püjä (Worshiping the Lord’s Bell)

While offering the bell a flower petal dipped in candana, chant:
ete gandha-puñpe oà jagat-dhvani-mantra-mätre svähä houö
Now affix the flower petal on the bell using sandal paste. Then ring the bell briefly with your left
hand and replace it on the plate, all the while thinking of the bell as a servant of the Lord. Then
with joined palms chant:
sarva-vädya-mayi ghaëöe deva-devasya vallabhe
tväà vinä naiva sarveñäà çubhaà bhavati çobhane
O beautiful bell so dear to Çré Kåñëa, the God of gods, you embody the sweet sound of all music. Without you
there is no auspiciousness for anyone.

8. Çaìkha-püjä : (Worshiping the Lord’s Bathing Conch)

While offering a flower petal dipped in candana to the Lord’s bathing conch, chant:
ete gandha-puñpe oà huà huà huà namaù mahä-çaìkhäya svähä houö

 Guru Pujä

1. Dhyäna
First meditate on the place where Çréla Prabhupäda is situated:
At the Yogapéöha in Çré Mäyäpur, in the spiritual abode of Navadvépa, Lord
Gaurasundara sits on a jeweled throne. On His right is Lord Nityänanda, on His left Çré
Gadädhara. In front, with joined palms, are Çré Advaita and Çrévasa Öhäkura, who
holds an umbrella over Lord Caitanya’s head. On a jeweled platform below Lord
Gauräìga’s throne, my Spiritual Master sits.
While chanting the following mantra, meditate on Çréla Prabhupäda’s form, and remember his
spiritual qualities and activities:
prätaù çréman-navadvépe dvi-netraà dvi-bhujaà gurum
varäbhaya-pradaà çäntaà smaret tan-näma-pürvakam
In the morning, one should remember the spiritual master as being situated in Çré Navadvépa, having two eyes
and two arms, as being peaceful, and as bestowing all benediction and fearlessness upon chanting his name.
Then chant the prema-dhvani for your Spiritual Master.

2. Mänasa-Püjä (Worship of the Spiritual Master in the Mind)

Meditate on offering sixteen upacäras to Çréla Prabhupäda .

feet, drawing his attention.
1. Chant idaà äsanam (guru-müla-mantra) and with a hand gesture offer an äsana for Çréla
Prabhupäda to sit on.
2. Chant svägataà su-svägataà (guru-müla-mantra) and with joined palms welcome Çréla
Prabhupäda and see to his comfort.
3. Chant etat pädyam (guru-müla-mantra) and offer water for washing Çréla Prabhupäda’s feet.
4. Chant idaà arghyam (guru-müla-mantra) and offer arghya to Çréla Prabhupäda in his
hands so that he can sprinkle it over his head.
5. Chant idaà äcamanéyam (guru-müla-mantra) and offer Çréla Prabhupäda water for sipping.
6. Chant eña madhuparkaù (guru-müla-mantra) and offer Çréla Prabhupäda a cup of
madhuparka.
7. Chant idaà punar-äcamanéyam (guru-müla-mantra) and again offer water for sipping.
8. Chant idaà snänéyam (guru-müla-mantra) and bathe Çréla Prabhupäda.
9. Chant idaà vastram (guru-müla-mantra) and offer cloth to Çréla Prabhupäda and dress him.

10. Chant imäni äbharaëäni (guru-müla-mantra) and offer paraphernalia used by Çréla
Prabhupäda, such as eye-glasses or a sannyäsa-daëòa.

using a flower petal.
12. Chant etäni puñpäëi (guru-müla-mantra) and offer flowers with candana to Çréla
Prabhupäda’s lotus feet. You may then put tulasé leaves in the right hand of Çréla Prabhupäda for
him to offer to the Lord. At this time you may also offer a flower garland.
13. Chant eña dhüpaù (guru-müla-mantra) and offer incense.
14. Chant eña dépaù (guru-müla-mantra) and offer a lamp.
15. Chant idaà naivedyam (guru-müla-mantra) and offer mahä-prasäda to Çréla Prabhupäda.

While ringing the bell with your left hand (except where mudräs are shown), offer all the
following upacäras to your spiritual master, using samänya-arghya water from the païca-pätra for
items where required, and then discard them into a receptacle placed in front of his mürti. After
offering each item, purify your right hand with a few drops of water from the brass pavitra kinòi.

däsyaà pradäya kuru mäà vraja-känane çré-
rädhäìghri-sevana-rase sukhinéà sukhäbdhau
O beloved spiritual master, you are always in the presence of the cowherd girl Rädhä, the daughter of King
Våñabhänu. Please award me service at your lotus feet, which are the proprietors of devotional service. Please
place me in the ocean of joy by bestowing upon me happiness in the mellows of service at the lotus feet of Çré
Rädhä in the groves of Vraja-dhäma.

5. Guru Praëäma
Offer obeisances with the following verses:

1. Navadvépa-dhyäna (Meditation on Navadvépa-dhäma)

Chant the following verse and meditate on Navadvépa-dhäma, the transcendental place of the
Lord’s pastimes:
svardhunyäç cäru-tére sphuritam ati-båhat-kürma-påñöhäbha-gätraà
ramyärämävåtaà san-maëi-kanaka-mahä-sadma-saìghaiù parétam
nityaà pratyälayodyat-praëaya-bhara-lasat-kåñëa-saìkértanäòhyaà
çré-våndäöavy-abhinnaà tri-jagad-anupamaà çré-navadvépam éòe
I praise the holy dhäma of Navadvépa. Being entirely non-different from Çré Våndävana, it is completely
different from the material world, consisting of the three planetary systems. Situated on the beautiful banks of
the Ganges, Navadvépa is covered by lovely groves and gardens, and it appears like the back of a gigantic turtle.
That holy dhäma is filled with many great palatial houses made of gold and bedecked with brilliant jewels, and
in those houses devotees are always performing kåñëa-saìkértana in the mellow of ecstatic love.

2. Gauräìga-dhyäna (Meditation on the Form of Lord Caitanya)

Chant the following verse and meditate on the transcendental form of Lord Caitanya amidst His
eternal associates.
çréman-mauktika-däma-baddha-cikuraà su-smera-candränanaà
çré-khaëòäguru-cäru-citra-väsanaà srag-divya-bhüñäïcitam
nåtyäveça-rasänumoda-madhuraà kandarpa-veçojjvalaà
caitanyaà kanaka-dyutià nija-janaiù saàsevyamänaà bhaje
I worship Çré Caitanya Mahäprabhu, who is being served by all His devotees and associates, whose hair is bound
with strings of pearls, and whose moonlike face bears the nectar of His gentle smile. His beautiful golden body is
adorned with lovely garments, anointed with sandalwood and aguru pulp, and bedecked with garlands and
various glistening ornaments. He is extremely charming, absorbed as He is in enjoying the sweet mellows of
dancing, and His dress is more splendid than even Cupid’s.

Meditate on offering Lord Caitanya sixteen upacäras.

May that Lord who is known as the son of Çrématé Çacédevé be transcendentally situated in the innermost core of
your heart. Resplendent with the radiance of molten gold, He has descended in the Age of Kali by His causeless
mercy to bestow what no incarnation has ever offered before: the most elevated mellow of devotional service, the
mellow of conjugal love. [Caitanya-caritämåta, Ädi 1.4]

 Çälagräma-püjä

1. Kara-çuddhi (Purifying the Hands)

Wash your hands with water from the waterpot and/or clean them by smearing them lightly with
candana.

2. Dravya-çuddhi (Purifying the Paraphernalia for Worship)

Chant oà asträya phaö and sprinkle the paraphernalia with samänya-arghya water. Then show
the cakra-mudrä, gälini mudrä (only for liquids) and dhenu-mudrä over all the paraphernalia.
Now chant silently the käma-béja (kléà) eight times over each article while showing the béjäkñara-
mudrä.
Now show the matsya mudrä.

Put tualsi leaves for all the liquid items. ( 5 Panchamrta items + 1 cup of Madhuparkha). So before
beginning the abhishek they should be purified and tulasi leaves must be put.

3. Puñpa-çuddhi (Purifying the Flowers)

Chant oà asträya phaö and sprinkle the flowers with
samänya-arghya water. Then show the cakra- and dhenu-
mudräs over the flowers.
While touching the flowers with the fingers of your right hand
in the béjäkñara-mudrä, chant:
oà puñpe puñpe mahä-puñpe su-puñpe puñpa-sambhave

O flowers, O great and auspicious flowers who have appeared from a
budding creeper, may you be purified.
Then show the matsya-mudrä over the flowers.

4. Péöha-püjä (Worship of the Lord’s Place with His Associates)
• Using candana, draw a lotus-shaped maëòala with eight petals in the snäna-pätra.
• Write the käma-béja (kléà) in the center of the maëòala.

• Meditating on the holy dhäma and your spiritual master, while ringing the bell offer flower
petals dipped in candana to the péöha.
One should take care not to touch Çälagräma-çéla directly with the left hand. One should wrap
one’s left hand with a cloth generally a towel.
Place Çälagräma on the ‘left’ of the mandala on a bed or rose petals and tulasi leaves.
Make Çälagräma äsana ready. Dust the äsana and place fresh rose petals and tulasi leaves on the
äsana.
Keep Ghee in Hot Water bucket for melting and then pour one spoon of Viçeña Arghya water in
the hot water bucket.

and then begin their dhyäna:

Våndävana-dhäma is an abode of ever-increasing joy. In that transcendental land grow flowers and fruits of all
seasons, and various birds fill it with sweet sounds. Cool breezes and the Yamunä’s waters enhance the
atmosphere, and all directions resound with the humming of bumblebees. Våndävana is decorated with wish-
fulfilling trees embraced by many varieties of flower-bearing creepers, and its divine beauty is ornamented with
the pollen of red, blue, and white lotuses. The ground is made of jewels that shine with the brilliance of ten
million suns rising in the sky at once. On that ground is a garden of desire trees forever showering divine love,
and in that garden sits a bejeweled temple with a pinnacle of rubies. Bedecked as it is with various jewels, that
temple shines brilliantly in every season. It is beautified with brightly colored canopies, glittering with various
gems, and endowed with coverings decorated with rubies, as well as gateways and arches inlaid with gems. That
temple shines with the splendor of millions of suns and is eternally free from the six waves of material miseries.
Within it sits a great, golden, gem-inlaid throne. In this way one should meditate on Çré Våndävana-dhäma, the
divine realm of the Supreme Lord. [Gautaméya-tantra 4]

Rädhä-kåñëa-dhyäna: (Meditation on the Form of Rädhä-Kåñëa)

In a temple of jewels in Våndävana, underneath a desire tree, Çré Çré Rädhä-Govinda, served by Their most
confidential associates, sit upon an effulgent throne. I offer my humble obeisances unto Them.
I meditate on the Supreme Lord, Çré Kåñëa, who possesses beautiful lotus eyes, whose color is that of a new cloud,
whose clothes are like lightning, who possesses two arms and a beautiful forest garland, and whose hand is
indicating divine knowledge by exhibiting the jïäna-mudrä. That Kåñëa is decorated with glittering ornaments
and is surrounded by all the cowherd friends of Çrématé Rädhäräëé. While being embraced by Çrématé Rädhäräëé
Herself, His form is intensified consciousness and bliss. Çré Kåñëa, who is intensely bluish-black, in His two-
armed form, is the Lord of all the demigods, and His body is full of transcendental bliss.

6. Mänasa-püjä
Meditate on offering the following sixteen upacäras in the mind to Çälagräma
Chant eña puñpäïjaliù kléà kåñëäya namaù & offer a rose petal to His Lordship’ lotus feet.
1. Chant idaà äsanam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer an äsana for Their Lordship’s to sit on.
(Escort Them to a seat with a gesture of your hands.)
2. Chant svägataà su-svägatam kléà kåñëäya namaù and with joined palms welcome Their
Lordship’s and see to Their comfort.
3. Chant etat pädyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer water for washing Their Lordship’s lotus
feet.
4. Chant idaà arghyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer the arghya preparation to Their
Lordship’s in Their hands so that They can sprinkle it over Their heads.
5. Chant idaà äcamanéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer Their Lordship’s water for sipping.
6. Chant eña madhuparkaù kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer His Lordship a cup of madhuparka.
7. Chant idaà punar-äcamanéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and again offer water for sipping.
8. Chant idaà snänéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and bathe His Lordship.
9. Chant idaà vastram kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer cloth to Their Lordship’s and dress
Them.
10. Chant imäni äbharaëäni kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer ornaments to His Lordship.
11. Chant eña gandhaù kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer gandha to His Lordship lotus feet.
12. Chant etäni puspäëi kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer flowers with candana to Their
Lordship’s lotus feet. Then offer tulasé leaves to Their lotus feet. At this time you may also offer a
flower garland.
13. Chant eña dhüpaù kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer incense to Their Lordship’s

whatever additional items might be pleasing to Them.

7. Bähya-püjä
Now, while ringing the bell with your left hand (except where mudräs are shown), offer sixteen
upacäras to Çäligräma, using viçeña-arghya water from the païca-pätra for each item, and then
discard them into a receptacle placed in front of Them. After offering each item, purify your right
hand with a few drops of water from the païca-pätra.

Lordship and see to Their comfort.

3. Pädya
Chant etat pädyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and
offer water for washing Their Lordship’s lotus
feet.

4. Arghya
Chant idaà arghyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer the arghya preparation to Their
Lordship’s in Their hands so that They can sprinkle it over Their head.

5. Äcamana
Chant idaà äcamanéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer Their Lordship’s water for sipping.

6. Madhuparka
Chant eña madhuparkaù kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer His Lordship madhuparka from
Viçeña-arghya.

7. Punar-äcamana
Chant idaà punar-äcamanéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and again offer water for sipping. (offer
water 3 times)

8. Snäna
Mürti-çuddhi: Remove gandha and tulasi from Çälagräma using a wet cloth.
Chant ime päduke kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer shoes to His Lordship and escort Them to
Their bathing place, the snäna-pätra.
Chant idaà sugandha-tailam kléà kåñëäya namaù and massage His Lordship with fragrant
oil.
Chant idaà snänéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and bathe His Lordship (çälagräma-çilä) with
païcämåta. As you pour the milk, yogurt, ghee, honey, and sugar water (one after another, in this
order) chant the Brahma-saàhitä mantras:

While bathing, ring the bell and chant the Govinda prayers from the Brahma-saàhitä and
other appropriate prayers.

govindam ädi-puruñaà tam ahaà bhajämi
I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, the first progenitor, who is tending cows yielding all desires among
abodes built with spiritual gems and surrounded by millions of desire trees. He is always served with great
reverence and affection by hundreds of thousands of lakñmés, or gopés.

barhävataàsam asitämbuda-sundaräìgam
kandarpa-koöi-kamanéya-viçeña-çobhaà
govindam ädi-puruñaà tam ahaà bhajämi
I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is adept at playing on His flute, who has eyes like the petals of a
blooming lotus, whose head is bedecked with a peacock feather, who has a figure of beauty tinged with the
hue of blue clouds, and whose unique loveliness is charming millions of Cupids.
After bathing the Lord in païcämåta, bathe the çälagräma in warm water.
Chant idaà aìga-vastram kléà kåñëäya namaù and dry the Lord with a soft cloth
and apply sandal oil & replace Him in the äsana meant for the çälagräma-çilä.
Chant idaà äcamanéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer äcamana to His Lordship. (offer
water 3 times)

9. Vastra
Chant idaà vastram kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer fresh clothing from Viçeña-arghya.
Chant idaà upavétam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer from Viçeña-arghya.
Chant idaà äcamanéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù (offer water 3 times from Viçeña-arghya)
idaà tilakam kléà kåñëäya namaù and apply thilaka to the Lord
Chant idaà äcamanéyam kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer His Lordship water for sipping.

10. Äbharaëa
Chant imäni äbharaëäni kléà kåñëäya namaù place crown to the Lord.

Chant etat tulasé-patram (for one leaf) or etäni tulasé-paträëi (for several leaves) kléà
kåñëäya namaù and offer tulasé leaves and maïjarés with candana to çälagräma.
Chant imäni mälyäni kléà kåñëäya namaù Now offer garlands to çälagräma
Chant eña darpah kléà kåñëäya namaù, and offer from Viçeña-arghya.
Place a few rose petals on the pitha close to çälagräma-
pitha & invite Çréla Prabhupäda and Gauranga by
offering puñpäïjali to Çréla Prabhupäda’s & Gauranga’s
photo and with a hand gesture offer an äsana (idaà
äsanam guru mula mantra) for Çréla Prabhupäda to sit
on and with joined palms welcome (svägataà su-
svägataà guru mula mantra) Çréla Prabhupäda and see
to his comfort.

13. Dhüpa
Chant eña dhüpaù kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer incense to His Lordship while ringing the
bell.

14. Dépa
Chant eña dépaù kléà kåñëäya namaù and offer a ghee or camphor lamp to His Lordship while
ringing a bell.

16. Offer respects, glorification and obeisances (praëäma): Chant the 6, 7 gäyatré silently
ten times each.

household, and land. Therefore You are known as the destroyers of fear for those surrendered unto You.

O Your Lordships, I am certainly the abode of many offenses and am completely devoid of any devotional
practices. Nor do I have any resort or shelter. Therefore, I regard You as my ultimate goal.

I am Yours, O Lord of Çrématé Rädhäräëé, as are my actions, mind, and words. O Çrématé Rädhäräëé, lover of
Çré Kåñëa, I belong to You alone.
çaraëaà väà prapanno ’smi karuëä-nikaräkarau
prasädaà kuru däsyaà bho mayi duñöe ’parädhini
O Rädhä and Kåñëa, O ocean of mercy, You are my only shelter, and thus I take shelter of You. Although I am
such a fallen offender, please be merciful to me and make me Your servant.

Vijïäpti-païcaka
mat-samo nästi päpätmä näparädhé ca kaçcana
parihäre ’pi lajjä me kià bruve puruñottama
O Puruñottama, no sinner or offender is as bad as I am. How can I describe my shame?
yuvaténäà yathä yüni yünäm ca yuvatau yathä
mano ’bhiramate tadvan mano me ramatäà tvayi
Just as the minds of young ladies take pleasure in a young man, and the minds of young men take pleasure in a
young woman, kindly let my mind take pleasure in You alone.
bhümau skhalita-pädänäà bhümir evävalambanam
tvayi jätäparädhänäà tvam eva çaraëaà prabho
Just as the ground is the only support for those whose feet have slipped, You alone are the only shelter for those
who have offended You.
govinda-vallabhe rädhe prärthaye tväm ahaà sadä
tvadéyam iti jänätu govindo mäà tvayä saha
O Çrématé Rädhäräëé, beloved of Lord Govinda, this is my request: may You and Lord Govinda consider me one
of Your assistants.

9. Karma-samarpaëa (Offering One’s Activities to the Lord)
Offer all your activities to the Lord while reciting this prose mantra and/or its translation:
itaù pürvaà praëa-buddhi-dharmädhikärato jägrat-svapna-suñupty-avasthäsu manasä
väcä karmaëä hastäbhyäà padbhyäm udareëa çiçnä yat småtaà yad uktaà yat kåtaà
tat sarvaà çré-kåñëärpaëaà bhavatu svähä
mäà madéyaà ca sakalaà haraye samarpayämi
oà tat sat
As a living entity endowed with life, intelligence, body, and the power to discriminate between right and wrong, I
offer Kåñëa whatever I have thought with my mind, spoken with my words, and performed with my hands, feet,
stomach, and genitals while awake, asleep, or in deep sleep. I offer myself and everything I have to the Lord.

10. Ätma-samarpaëa (Offering Oneself to the Lord)

Offer yourself to the Lord while reciting this verse:
ahaà bhagavato ’àço ’smi sadä däso ’smi sarvathä
tvat-kåpäpekñako nityam ity ätmänaà samarpaye
O Lord, I offer myself to You in full surrender, always praying for Your mercy and considering myself eternally
part and parcel of You.

11. Aparädha-çodhana (Begging Forgiveness for Offenses)

aìga-hénaà kriyä-hénaà vidhi-hénaà cayäd bhavet
astu tat sarvam acchidraà kåñëa-kärñëa-prasädataù
yat kiïcid vaiguëyaà jätaà tad doña-prasamänasya çré-kåñëa-smaraëaà karomi
May the mercy of Kåñëa and His devotees nullify all the mistakes we have made in our observance of the rules of
worship and in our performance of the acts of worship. I now remember Kåñëa to nullify whatever faults there
