PIURA: WHAT CAN YOU SEE IN THIS CITY?
Piura is much appreciated for its colonial buildings, such as The Cathedral of
Piura with its golden altar. The "Plaza de Armas", a small square linead to
tamarindos trees. The Church of San Francisco, where Piura declared its
independence from Spain in 1821. Also, There’s a Miguel Grau Museum, a place full
of history. Here, there a lot of photos and memories of the 19th century war hero.
