“You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an
imperfect person perfectly.”
Marriage is an eternal commitment two people make to believe in and
understand each other and truly love one another.
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, friends and loved ones, We are extremely
delighted that all of you are here to celebrate this important milestone in
LILIYA’S and KIRAN’S lives. This is (MEETHU&ANITHA) your hosts for today.
Welcome to LILIYA’S and KIRAN’S engagement ceremony. Today calls for a
grand celebration and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you the two most
important people of this ceremony for the very first time. Let us all rise and give
our warmest welcome to them. I would now request the parents and the siblings of the bride
and the groom to come on stage.
*RISE*
I’m sure many of you know LILIYA and KIRAN personally. For those who don’t,
here is a bit of quick info.
Liliya Susan Philips is the daughter of Philips George and Golda Philips. She has
a younger sister, Riya Elsa Philips. She was brought up in Dubai and is now a
senior auditor. As most of you all know Liliya is a very bright and energetic
person who shares great interest in singing, sports and travelling.
Kiran Abraham George is the son of Abraham Georgekutty and Sophia George.
He has two younger siblings- Dr. Karishma George and Chris George. He was
brought up in Dubai and is currently working as a syndicate accountant in
Ireland. Kiran is a very hard working and kind person who puts his family and
loved ones at the core of his priorities.
As (Bride) and (Groom) embark on this journey together, I invite their parents
to come forward and light the lamp.
LAMP
Firstly, I invite (Bride)’s parents to jointly light the lamp.

Next, I invite (Groom)’s parents to light the lamp.

Now, I humbly invite (Bride) and (Groom) to light the lamp together, creating
the circle of life to share their love and commitment towards each other forever.

Thank you.
(Cake cutting)
The cake is a symbol of a love that the couple would enjoy from this day
forward. So, (Bride) and (Groom), I invite you to slice into this beautiful cake
and exchange it among yourselves!
Lovely!
(Wine Toasting)
Raising a glass together is a way for everyone to share in wishing good health
and happiness to the lovely couple. I would like to invite (Bride) and (Groom) to
toast to the next big event in their lives.
Thank you.
Well, Liliya and Kiran, on behalf of all those who have gathered here, I wish you
the very best for the wedding and your future together.
Lunch has been served and refreshments are available.

(Dance)
Can I have everyone’s attention please?
There's nothing sweeter than watching your loved ones jam to a classic wedding
number, even if they miss a few beats. I invite the bride's and groom’s close
ones onto the stage for a dance performance. Lets give a round of applause.
Thank you so much for that lovely performance.
(ending)
Once again, we would like to thank everyone for coming here today and sharing
this momentous occasion with Groom and Bride. We do hope that all of you had
a great time. This is MEETHU and ANITHA signing off.
Have a nice day and enjoy yourself!
Thank you
