Today marks a very important occasion to each of us, especially to our dear graduates who strived so

hard to accomplish their tasks and surpass the academic struggles they have encountered all throughout the
school year. It has been a mind- juggling journey where learners experienced being drained both mentally and
physically. We know for sure that attaining education is indeed an expedition where one needs an inspiration.

Ladies and gentlemen, at this juncture, I am pleased to introduce to each of you, a very honorable guest
who will inspire and enlighten us this day.

She finished her secondary level at Philippine Science High School- Southern Mindanao Campus. She
honed her skills and capabilities in the school inside the years 2010 to 2014. She graduated with High Honors
and was a DOST-SEI Merit Scholarship Passer. Furthermore, she is a UP College of Medicine INTARMED
Program Qualifier of the AY 2014-2015.

Going on, with her intelligence and perseverance, she attained her degree, BS in Industrial Pharmacy, at
the University of the Philippines in 2019. In June 2021, she passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination with
an excellent rating of 90.85%.

In enhancing her capacities, our respected guest had participated and worked in several companies.
Currently, she is affiliated to Certara Philippines, Inc. as a Regulatory Writer I where she participates in various
project teams and meetings, supports review for a variety of documents, ushers documents through the review
process, and other meaningful work- related tasks.

She had also conducted, published, and presented several researches titled: (1) Development and
Comparative Evaluation of Garcinia mangostana Extract-Loaded PLGA Polymeric Nanoparticles and Chitosan
Polymeric Nanoparticles (Cagas, Demata, Regidor), (2) Determination of Ovalbumin-Mefenamic Acid Affinity
at Different Media and pH: A UV-Vis Spectrophotometric Analysis, and (3) Total Phenolic Content and Iron
Chelating Activity of Cymbopogon citratus (Poaceae) Stapf (DC) Ethanolic Leaf Extracts.

She is a indeed an inspirational and a bright licensed pharmacist who is efficient, reliable, personable,
analytical, and detail-oriented, with a strong background knowledge in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and
pharmacodynamics, quality assurance and quality control, regulatory affairs and product registration,
pharmaceutical manufacturing and validation, and good manufacturing and documentation practice owing to
her Industrial Pharmacy degree.

Ladies and gentlemen, let us all welcome, the affable and intellectual, Ms. Frances Elaine T. Demata.
Let us welcome her with a reverberating applause.
