List FIVE (5) importance of business ethics.

ANSWERS
It’s important for organizations to operate with good business ethics to avoid legal and
regulatory problems. There are 5 types of the importance of business ethics.
1. it is important for public perception, which is the attention is to the social behaviour
and customer loyalty that is important because losing customer is costing , bad
reputation can hurt business to gain new customer.
2. Employee perception, to attract and keep talented individuals, companies maintain an
atmosphere of fairness and openness, they appreciate working in a positive
environment where there is no favouritism.
3. It can improve company profitability where a well implemented ethics can also reduce
losses.
4. Business ethics involve a guiding standard for values, behaviours, and decision-
making.
5. Running a business with ethics at its core from the top down is essential for
company-wide integrity.

List FIVE (5) guidelines in choosing a business ideas and opportunity.

There are many guidelines can be followed when choosing a business ideas and opportunity,
this includes 5 guidelines below
1. Have a complete knowledge of the product or service to be offered before searching
for business ideas.
2. Do market evaluation and research of the product or service to be offered before
choosing business opportunity, plus find if it is the right time to release the product or
service to the market and its potential relation to competitor.
3. Ensuring the training, experience, management skillset and ability to manage a
company or team required is sufficient enough to run the business properly.
4. Do research on financial strength and making sure credit is strong. Moreover, its
important considering the business includes building, equipment, leasehold and
inventory.
5. Evaluate the policies and plans of the company with the association and business
groups in which if the parent company or a seller is involved in the future business.

A. Entrepreneurship is an individual that creates new business, to develop, organize
and run a business enterprise, along with any of its uncertainties in order to make a
profit. They were sees as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and
business. This process of setting up a business is known as entrepreneurship.

B. Small and Medium Enterprise are businesses that maintain revenues, assets or a


number of employees below a certain threshold, which represent almost 98% of all
registered business in Malaysia. Certain size criteria must be met such as annual
turnover or number of employees, and occasionally the industry in which country the
company operates in is taken into account as well.

C. Business Opportunities is the chance to take advantage of an occurrence in the


market to begin a business and for gaining profit. It is what makes some businesses
succeed while others fail. Moreover, it is also the most important aspect of new
entrepreneur to have, which ability to find a new business opportunities. It is also
involves sales and lease of any product, services and equipment that will enable
purchaser-licensee to begin a business, and there is no continued relationship
required by the seller.

D. Management is defined as all the activities and tasks undertaken for archiving goals
by continuous activities such as planning, organizing, leading and controlling. It is the
coordination of task by a team to achieve goals and standard effectively by using
available resources they have. They can be define as an art of getting things done
through others and formally organized group.

There are 5 types of organizational structure.
1. Functional Structure
A company with a functional organizational structure is divided into various
departments or teams. They often built around specific corporate functions, such as
sales, marketing, information technology, finance, and human resources. A
functional organizational structure can increase efficiency and productivity. This is

because all of your corporate resources such as people, knowledge, skills, and
budget are organized around a specific function.

2. Divisional Structure
The divisional structure groups teams or departments into broader divisions. This is
often done on either a geographic or product-line basis. In the product-based
structure, leaders create company divisions for specific product or service lines,
each with its own manager. Separate marketing, sales, design, and customer
service teams would serve each of the three lines. In many cases, this is better for
product development.

3. Geographic Structure
With geographically based structures, companies create divisions based on the
specific regions or countries they serve. For instance, a company may find it more
economical to be located near a specific material source. This means that a
geographic structure makes more practical and financial sense.

4. Matrix Structure
The matrix structure organizes reporting relationships between employees and
supervisors in a grid-like model. This differs from the direct lines of the more
traditional hierarchical structure. In visual representations of this kind of structure,
these different reporting relationships are represented by solid lines for primary
supervisors and dotted lines for project-based, temporary supervisory roles. The
result of this arrangement is that employees may report to more than one
supervisor.

5. Network Structure
The network organizational structure is most commonly associated with companies
that either partner with other businesses or that outsources large segments of
business operations to contractors and freelancers. It describes the relationship
between various locations and those outside or third-party entities.
This type of approach works best when your company relies on outsourcing or joint
venture partners. The structure more accurately reflects actual workflows and
processes, both on- and offsite.

processes. The process can be divided into two main categories: formal and
informal. The Technopreneurship is an opportunity for technical professionals to work
with the online platform and have access to its resources.
2. Intrapreneurs: The term intrapreneurship refers to a system that allows an employee
to act like an entrepreneur within a company or other organization. Intrapreneurs are
self-motivated, proactive, and action-oriented people who take the initiative to pursue
an innovative product or service. An intrapreneur knows failure does not have a
personal cost as it does for an entrepreneur since the organization absorbs losses
that arise from failure. It creates an entrepreneurial environment by allowing
employees to use their entrepreneurial skills for the benefit of both the company and
the employee. It gives employees the freedom to experiment, as well as the potential
for growth within an organization.

3. Social entrepreneur: A social entrepreneur is interested in starting a business for


the greater social good and not just the pursuit of profits. As a person who pursues
novel applications that have the potential to solve community-based problems. These
individuals are willing to take on the risk and effort to create positive changes in
society through their initiatives. Social entrepreneurs may believe that this practice is
a way to connect life's purpose, help others find theirs, and make a difference in the
world. They seek to produce environmentally-friendly products, serve an underserved
community, or focus on philanthropic activities.

4. Copreneurs: Copreneurship are entrepreneurial couples who are in business


together and are committed to helping one another succeed in business and life; to
live their increasingly satisfying fulfilled lives and enjoys the journey together. This is
considered to be a new term for an old style of entrepreneurship. Copreneurship is
one of the fastest growing, segments of a family business. It specified joint
ownership, demonstrated commitment and responsibility to the business, as well as
the blending of work and family worlds as the prerequisites for copreneurship.
