in the chapter Letters, emails, Facebook and texts

After the meeting with Mr. Tushman and Jack, Jack decided to write a letter to Mr. Tushman
apologizing for hitting Julian and that he preferred not to tell him why he did it as it would not
justify his actions.

Jack wrote Julian a letter apologizing for hitting him.

Among the families Will, Albans and Mr. Tushman were discussing the subject of Jack's attitudes
and if August should really be in that school or in a place for special people

Also, Jack wrote August a letter apologizing for talking about him like that and that he hoped they
would be friends again. The two began to talk on Facebook, they discussed the subject but in the
end they were able to save their friendship.

We continue with the chapter "The war".

In this chapter Jack finds out thanks to Summer that Julian had a super party on vacation with all
the boys at school telling them that Jack hit him and that they won't talk to him anymore

in the chapter "Switching tables" Jack realizes that many began not to speak to him and look at
him strangely at lunch. While he had lunch he was left alone but at one point he heard someone
call him, it was August and Summer.

finally we get to the chapter "Why I Didn't Sit with August the First Day of School" where they tell
us how Jack and August's relationship was at the beginning.

At first, Jack ignored him and only saw how the others looked at August badly, but over time he
realized that he was a great guy and a good friend.

At the end of the chapter, Jack experiences what August felt at the beginning, since now he was
the one ignored along with August, but the important thing was that he did not get carried away
by the bad comments and preferred to appreciate the beautiful friendship that he have with
August.
