Type Anionic polyacrylic dispersion

Form supplied Approx. 41 % in water
Uses As a binder in the formulation of water-reducible two-component
coatings and sealers for mineral substrates and reactive resins (EP,
PU).
Characteristic data* Non-volatile content approx. 41 %
(DIN EN ISO 3251)
Viscosity at 23°C, 20 – 200 mPas
(DIN EN ISO 3219/A.3)
Hydroxyl content of supply form approx. 0.8 %
(DIN 53 240)
*These values are provisional. Binding supply specifications will not be
available until the final product information sheet is published.
Other data** pH (DIN 53 785) approx. 7.5
Density (DIN 53 217) approx. 1.1 g/cm3
** These values provide general information.
Solubility/thinnability With water.
Properties Because of its outstanding mechanical and chemical resistance proper-
ties the product is ideally suited for the formulation of sealers for
mineral substrates and reactive resins (EP, PU).
Combination with other water-reducible binders is possible. Because of
the many potential combination products, compatibility must always be
tested.
Storage When stored in its sealed original containers at temperatures above
freezing, Bayhydrol XP 2457 will remain stable for at least 6 months.
