My family’s structure is a nuclear family because I live with both my parents and my sisters under one roof. However, in a patrilineal
kinship, my family would be categorized as extended family, as multiple generations of our family lives in one community. Being raised in my
hometown with my family has greatly influenced who I am today. They are a significant part of my life as they are the source of my strength and
happiness. They are the ones I have first interacted with and have first learned the basic social skills and values in dealing with the people around
me. They have been my support system and source of everything, always behind me supporting and guiding me throughout. We have always
been together since I was born and our family affection towards each other was cultivated and nourished by sticking together. There may be
times where conflicts and obstacles arises but we handle it together by communicating and considering each opinion.
