Introduction
Your CLASUS Interactive Board is a high-quality product that uses the best available
technology, providing an efficient work environment. In fact, the use of wireless
electromagnetic technology is the key factor that allows for a work speed up to 6 meters per
second throughout an area covering 77 inches of diagonal length combined with an external
resolution of more than 200 lines per inch - greatly above its projector resolution.
Using the CLASUS Interactive Board combined with a video projector and a desktop or
notebook computer, you can make all the difference when making your presentations,
organizing your lessons or conducting your meetings. Making full use of this set by
harnessing interactive and multimedia concepts offers a tremendous opportunity to go far

Installation
1. Clasus Interactive Board Wall Mounting
Your Clasus Interactive Board should be mounted on a suitable stand or solid wall, using
the provided hooks. To mount on a wall, follow these simple steps:
-Mark two points on the wall, at nearly 80 cm from the floor (or 50 cm if small children will be
using the board), with a distance of 110 cm between them.
-Use a carpenter’s level to make sure the points define an horizontal line;
-Drill the holes to mount the lower hanger brackets;
-Assemble the hangers on the wall using the provided screws;
-Place the board on the lower hangers, and mark the position for the upper hanger. Make
sure the board will not be supported by the upper hanger;
-Drill the holes to mount the upper hanger brackets and use the provided screws to assemble
them.
-Apply vibration suppressors in upper section of board’s frame, at nearly 50 cm from the
centre;
-Attach the board to the upper hangers, letting it slide onto the lower hangers.
2. Digital Pen Tips and Battery Installation
Hold the digital pen near the tip and rotate rear cap counter-clockwise. Place an AAA battery
according to the picture below. Tighten the rear cap again, rotating clockwise. Do not apply
excessive force.
To change the electronic pen tip (electronic pen version as seen below), simply rotate the
front cap counter-clockwise and place the new tip. Tighten the front cap again, rotating
clockwise.
To change the second digital pen tip, simply pull the tip off the digital pen and place the new
tip without applying excessive force.
3. Power and Data Cable Connection to Clasus Interactive Board
The connection between the computer and the Clasus Interactive board is achieved using
only one cable that acts, simultaneously, as both the power and data communication cable.
The power consumption is so low that even the provided power plug is not needed when the
board is connected to an USB Bus.
Just connect the cable to the board, according to the above picture, and to a USB plug in the
computer.
Never plug or unplug power/data cable from the Clasus Interactive Board
with the cable connected to the USB Bus.
4. Driver and A-migo Software Installation
Before starting the installation process, make sure the data cable is
unplugged from the computer.
Driver and A-migo Software installation is very simple. Just follow the steps below:
-Execute the “Install” file, included in the CR-ROM provided. You should be welcomed by a
screen similar to this:
-Follow on-screen instructions;
-When the following screen is shown, connect the data cable to the PC, wait for device
detection, and accept the driver installation confirmation request;
-Follow on-screen instructions, again, until the end of the installation process.
5. Driver and A-migo Software Uninstall
To repair or remove A-migo software from your hard disk, execute the “Install” file provided
in the CD-ROM and select the appropriate option.
Executing the A-migo Application
1. Clasus Interactive Board Application Communication
For full, comprehensive use of the A-migo Software, you need to assure that the
communication application with the board is under execution. This can be easily confirmed by
checking the presence of the icon in the toolbar. By right-clicking the mouse over the
mentioned icon, the following sub-menu will be shown:
In the above example, the “re-connect” option is active, which means there is no connection
with the CLASUS Interactive Board. Select this option to establish communication.
Before you start using your CLASUS Interactive Board, you need to correct this orientation.
To do so, select the correct menu option. After the orientation option menu is shown, select
“Re-orientation” and follow the instructions.
If the message “Failure to Connect. Check the connection between the board
and the computer…” is shown, check to make sure the data communication cable
is correctly plugged into the board and to the computer and select the option
“re-connect” again.
The reorientation process is an essential requirement so that you can get
precision, quality work. It must be done after the first installation, and repeated
every time there are configuration changes or (a) repositioning of the video
projector relative to the CLASUS Interactive Board.
2. Executing A-migo Software
The A-migo Software can be launched directly from the “Start” menu in the operating system. You
can find this option under the “CLASUS Software” Group.
The above image shows the initial authentication screen. You can start the application by
simply leaving both fields blank. Later, you can make the most of this option by creating
users and personalizing profiles for each of these users.

Frequently Asked Questions
The following message is shown: “Connection failed. Check the connection
between the board and the computer…”. What should I do next?
Check to make sure that the data communication cable is correctly plugged into the board
and to the computer and then select the “re-connect” option again;
Verify that the communication application with the board is running;
Verify that the USB device control is correctly installed.
• During start-up, the application shows the error message: “Failed to load the
XML file”:
Check to make sure that the browser version installed is compatible with the software
requirements.
• It’s only possible to work on part of the board surface:
Repeat the orientation operation.
• During the orientation operation, some spots are not recognised:
Check to verify whether there are any clear, projection distortions and, if so, correct
them;
Make sure the whole image is projected inside the written area of the Interactive Board.
• The electronic pen is not working:
Make sure that you are not working in Control Mode;
Do no press any buttons on the pen whilst drawing or writing on the board;
Make sure you are pressing the pen against the Board firmly enough;
Check the battery.
• Why does the projected image show a trapezium form?
To correct this situation, use the video projector correction options. If the problem
persists, try to position it (more) perpendicularly in relation to the board.
• What is the most suitable projector type to work with the CLASUS Interactive
Board?
Based on safety and ergonomic reasons, you should use a video projector that can be
fixed as close and as high as possible in relation to the board. Select a model capable of
generating the adequate luminosity level.
• I used a permanent type pen on the frontal surface of the board. How can I
remove the ink?
Permanent type pens are not approved to be used with CLASUS Interactive Boards. If this
happens, carefully clean the surface of the board using a cloth dampened with alcohol.
• How should I clean the frontal board surface?
