Introduction

Every day of the year there is somewhere in the world that is

celebrating a holiday. From January 1st to December 31st and
throughout (trut aut) the five continents, the traditions are
cultural and popular manifestations (Manifastechion) charged
with the richness of places privileged (privilech) by nature,
curiosities (quiurosiris), dresses, dances, gastronomy, among
others.
It is worth mentioning (menchionig) that each country has
customs and traditions that identify them to the rest of the world.
Also, There are several types of traditions, among the main
classifications are:
Of religious origin (oo- ri- yen)
Of historical origin
Of cultural origin
Good morning, Dear professor and classmates, it is a pleasure to
greet (Grit) you all.
To begin with, When Mr. Lopez left this assignment it occurred to
me to search on the internet for the most influential traditions in
the world so I came across something that steals the hearts (Jarts)
of many including myself which I titled (Tai-old) my presentation:
"Mother's Day, traditions around the world."
Where does mother's Day come from?
The idea started in America when a woman called Anna Jarvis held a small
memorial service for her own mother on 12 May in 1907. Soon after, most
places in America were observing the day, and in 1914, the US president
(Thomas Wilson) made it a national holiday, celebrated on the second
Sunday of May.
Body
As you can see, Mother's day has become a tradition therefore,
Mothers are celebrated on an international level, and in many
different ways. let's see some examples:
1. Brazil
In Brazil Mother’s Day is one of the most commercial tradition,
celebrated second only to Christmas. Brazil commemorates this
special day on the second Sunday of May with the special children
´s performances and church (Gadering) gathering. At home people
organized multi-generational barbecues with the extended family.
2. France
In France Mother’s Day takes places in late May or early June, and
was originally declared a holiday by napoleon. On this day,
mothers traditionally relax, relying on their children to take care
of their needs. In addition, gifts are given and original poems are
recited.
3. Germany
Mother’s Day takes places in late May or early June. After that, In
Germany the giving of Mother’s Day cards is particularly popular,
and a lot of children paint lovely pictures on their home-made for
their beloved mums! (beloved moms)
In addition, Mother’s Day traditions took on political significance
as the day to acknowledge women (Wimen) for producing
children for the army.
4. Peru
In Peru Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May
with chocolates, and enjoyable family meals. But, also celebrates
mother Earth or Pachamama as a symbol of fertility and avoiding
natural disasters.
5. Japan
In Japan Mother’s Day is traditionally (tradichioo-naly) celebrated
on the second Sunday in May. In this country mums are revered
(rivird) in Japanese culture as they are considered the life-givers,
and HEROES.
Who will sacrifice their needs over those of their offspring
(0fspring) . In response to that, children would often pick flowers
to give to their mothers and bake special cakes.
In Conclusion
Why do we celebrate mother's Day?
Mother's Day is an opportunity to express respect, honor, and
love towards (too-ard) mothers. This day is an event to honor the
contribution of mothers, acknowledge the efforts of maternal
bonds and the role of mothers in our society.
In my personal opinion I loved working with this topic because it
is something that we all can conceive an idea of how it feels to
experience this tradition because in fact we also celebrate our
mothers those valuable and beautiful beings that we have in our
lives and for which we should thank God for having them with us.
