1 Ensure proper shifting of cable drum.


2 Ensure cable route is clear.
3 Ensure proper size of cable as per Cable Schedule.
4 Ensure proper placing the drum on the cable jack.
5 Ensure proper jack according to the weight & size of drum.
Ensure cable type, size, quantity, trench depth & location as

per drawing before installing.

7 Ensure availability of sand & bricks in case of burried trench.

8 Ensure sand beding before & after in case of burried trench


as per given qty. in drawing.
9 Ensure brick laying after sand bedding as per drawing.
10 Record the megger value before laying the cable.
11 Ensure proper radius are available in bending.
12 Record the cable actual length which is laying.
13 Ensure the sealing both end of the laid cable.
14 Ensure sealing the drum end cable.
15 Ensure back filling as per drawing in case of buried cable.
16 Check Segregation & Spacing.
17 Cables shall be identified at both the ends & route markers
shall be installed where required.
