1 Ensure that cable tray materials shall be as per specification.

Ensure that the fabrication of steel structures bracket

supports shall be in accordance with detailed drawings.
Ensure that the installed supports shall be inspected &
3 ensure it is level and aligned vertical and whole assembly is
rigid.
Hold down clips properly. Tray is included only on location
4 shown on drawing or as per mentioned distance on drawings
or specification.
Ensure that the supports are properly fixed or to be welded
5 to structural steel, this shall be done prior to the application
of paint & protective coating.
Ensure verticle height from floor level should be as per given
6
in drawing.
7 Ensure leveling as per drawing.
8 Ensure diamensions are as per drawing.
Ensure supports are bolted to structural steel, this shall be
9 checked to ensure all bolts, nuts etc., are correctly installed
and securely fixed.
All braces and supports are adequate to handle weight of
10
tray and cables in accordance with detailed drawings.
Ensure all sharp edge are made smooth. No sharp edges to
11
pulling of cable.

12 Check that installation of cable trays does not conflict to


other services on equipment.
Ensure that grounding bonding jumpers are properly
13
connected and bonded to main ground grid.
14 Ensure all welding joints are painted.
15 Ensure cable route as per drawing & should clear.
Ensure correct size of tray & accessories are installed as per
16
drawing.

17 Ensure coupler plate with require nut bolting as per drawing.

18 Ensure Cable Tray Covers are fixed properly as per


mensioned in drawing.
19 Ensure tray numbering if applicable is as per drawing.
20 Ensure tray identification if applicable is as per drawing.
