WHAT ARE DREAMS
Most people often find it difficult in understanding what dreams are, but the fact is that,
it's pretty easy to know what dreams are and what they're trying to commune with us the
human soul.
Dreams are dimensional patterns of unravelling reality in essence with pure thoughts of
consciousness. They are ideas and manifestation of ones thought through the power of the
mindset.
Religion often considered dreams as a spiritual manifestation of divine revelation from
God. This process is called ENVISION.
Dreams are formative patterns of consciousness of invisible force with a descriptive link to
reality. In this case; dreams are designed by three categories: The emotion, the mind and
the perspective of perceivedness.
1
THE EMOTION
Emotions are feelings derived from human physique which includes psychologically, [...]
Controllable and uncontrollable desires and urge for the unknown.
THE MIND
The mind is a powerful tool of human expertises, and understanding capable harnessing
great potential deep within the human soul. They are the connection or gateway to physical
and nonphysical reality that shapens our dreams.
If the mind is shattered and fractured then the body becomes weak from processing any
giving information, whereas, if the mind is active, then the whole body becomes proactive
and preactive.
PERSPECTIVE OF PERCEIVEDNESS
When perspective is involved it entails visualizing to become aware of, through the physical
senses or by thinking; to see; to understand. Dreams are only processed through the power
of thoughts and emotion in the subconscious and consciousness state.
WHAT DO THEY MEAN
According to Carl Jung "Dreams are based on one's perspective of reasoning from the
mindset of an individual in a subconscious state". They allow the physical attributes to be
manifested in a three dimensional patterns, shapes of a quantum mechanics.
Once been visualized, the individual process that giving information with the mind,
transforming it within their desires, thus, dreams are formed. They are thoughts of one's
reasoning in a subconscious state between [...] Physical and nonphysical [...] Of existence.
TYPES OF DREAMS BASED ON RELIGION PERSPECTIVES
Before the basis of Dream world being formed, early Christians derived a way to categorize
dreams into different perspectives; what they mean? Types of dreams? And how they can
be interpreted.
2
As mentioned earlier to what they mean, they are the subconscious state of physical and
nonphysical existence, generated by one's [pure] thoughts. Early christians interpreters
interpret dreams as divine revelation from God who made all things come true. This
particular saying is referenced to these popular bible verses: Joel 2:28 And it shall come to
pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit
upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall
see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Thus, diverting their attention from the main course of reasoning, Gnostics Gospel of early
Christian disagrees to this point of perspectives, believing that the God who had created
this world trapped humanity in an embodiment of material world, thus rejecting the things
of the world.
Types of dreams
There are mainly two types of dreams
Psychological/Mental dream
Metaphysical/transcendent dream
Psychological / Mental dream
1. Lucid dreams
Lucid dreams occur when you realize you’re dreaming and you’re able to control the
dream or storyline. Some people purposefully try to lucid dream to stimulate creativity.
2. Daydreams
The main difference between a daydream and all other types of dreams is that you’re
awake during a daydream.
Daydreams occur consciously, but you may still feel like you’re not fully awake or aware of
your surroundings. If someone catches you daydreaming, they may say that you look
“zoned out” or lost in thoughts.
3
Daydreams usually involve other people, whether real or imagined. Some research has
shown that daydreaming about people you know predicts positive well-being while
daydreaming about people you aren’t close to can predict more loneliness and worse well-
being.
3. Recurring dreams
Recurring dreams are dreams that repeat more than once. They often have themes such as
confrontations, being chased, or falling.
You can have neutral recurring dreams or recurring nightmares. If you have recurring
nightmares, it may be due to an underlying mental health condition, substance use, or
certain medication.
Common themes in recurring dreams involve:
being attacked or chased
falling
being frozen with fear
Metaphysical / transcendent dream
1. False awakenings
False awakenings are a type of dream occurrence where a person believes they’ve woken
up but actually haven’t. If you’ve ever found yourself dreaming that you woke up, but it
was actually a part of the dream, this is a false awakening.
False awakenings have been noted to occur alongside lucid dreams and sleep paralysis.
2. Prophetic dreams
Prophetic dreams are thought to be dreams that have foretold a future event. If you dream
of something happening and then it occurs later, you may feel you’ve had a prophetic
dream.
4
Historically, dreams were considered to impart wisdom or even predict the future. In some
cultures today, dreams are still considered to be a way of receiving messages from the spirit
world.
There’s no real way to tell if a dream is prophetic or not — it comes down to what you
believe. Some believe that a prophetic dream is just your subconscious anticipating a
particular outcome and having you dream it to prepare.
3. Healing dreams
While there’s not a lot of scientific information on healing dreams, they’ve been described
as dreams that:
bring you balance or harmony
give you a sense of connection, meaning, or purpose
bring about reconciliation
leaves you feeling joyful or at peace
Common themes in dreams
Have you had a dream about your teeth falling out, flying through the sky, or being
chased? These are common themes that many people dream about.
Some of the most common dream themes are about:
falling
being chased
dying
teeth
being naked in public
pregnancy
flying
sex or cheating
5
Dreaming about specific things like this could mean many things, or as some researchers
believe, be completely nonsensical. Interpretations will vary depending on the individual
and how they’re doing in their day-to-day lives.
Dreams about falling or being chased may indicate experiencing anxiety or conflict, or even
falling in love.
Dreams about teeth falling out have been interpreted as everything from stress and big life
changes, to indicating dental health issues.
Losing teeth, being naked in public, and test taking may all fall under fear of
embarrassment.
WHERE DO DREAMS COME FROM
Here is a following quotation from a Gnosis manuscript
"Dreams are not real but they feel real, they are not important but can trap the conscious
and subconscious state In darkness if you allowing your human Avatar to to be captivated
by unclean energy". _ (Prince AmorYah) Billy Ray Smith Junior.
Early christians see dreams as a manifestation of God's word, be it revelation, vision and
communication. But dreams actually come from the inner consciousness of pure thoughts
and reasoning, the emotion, the mind and the perspective of perceivedness are responsible
for dreams.
WHY DO WE DREAM
Dreaming are based on the actions of an individual not in essence of spirituality. When one
dreams, it is as a result of previous [past], present and future collection of achievement;
take for instance: Dr. Silas has always wanted to be a musician, it has always been his
dream as a kid, and up to the moment he became a teenager to adulthood Dr. Silas dreams
changed, thus, becoming a neurologist. This doesn't mean he gave up his dreams of
becoming a musician even when he is not a musician but the passion for it drives his
emotion bonding for music while as a neurologist.
Dreams are shapen to our desires based on our emotions and thoughts be it conscious,
unconscious or subconscious state, they are the link to pure thoughts of awareness.
