Vibration Severity Graph Colour

This chart shows vibration severity levels for general rotating machinery based on ISO 10816-3 standards. It plots displacement in mils versus velocity in inches per second to indicate the acceptable operating ranges for machinery based on vibration levels. Below 0.8 mils and below 1.7 kHz is considered an excellent condition, while above 300 mils or 2.5 mm/s is in the very rough/dangerous range. The chart is used as a guide for vibration analysis to monitor machinery health conditions over time based on measured velocity, displacement, and acceleration values.
