FAHU Installation Checklist

SETTING Check Layout.


OUT Check Level.
MEP/CIVIL Check for Services Clearances.
1. Check equipment for any damage to interior & exterior.
2. Ensure all electrical connections if properly wired & correct
cable size are used.
3. Verify correct voltage, phase & cycles.

4. Check all piping & valves for any leaks.

5. Check that all air filters are in place and positioned properly.
6. Ensure all access doors are secured & latch set screws are
tight.
7. Check motor bearings are free from moisture & rust.
Installation of FAHU

8. Check coils for dirt build-up during storage & installation


9. Check gasket, insulation around the unit, door and dampers if
properly fixed/ installed.
10. Check flexible connection has been used between duct are
securely fixed.
11. Check fan greasing and motor if it requires re-greasing.

12. Check heat pipes are installed properly & ensure that it is
tested.
13. Ensure heat pipes are charged with the working fluid and are
leak tested.
14. Ensure RAC coils are accessible for any inspection &
maintenance.
15. Check all ductwork has been completed and available for full
air flow.
16. Check equipment if proper clearances has been maintained
as per approved shop drawings.

17. Check and adjust fan belt tension.
18. Inspect unit casing for any damage & corrosion.
19. Ensure that fan wheels and fan shaft are clean & free of
damages.
20. Check the condensate drain pan & drain line for sludge &
foreign materials that might obstruct proper drainage
21. Check all dampers linkages, set screws and blade
adjustments for proper operation.
Installation of FAHU

22. Rotate fan wheel & check for any obstruction in the fan
housing.
23. Check for any obstructions on blockages of the air intakes
and discharges.
24. Check that fan bearing is tightened and is not unduly noisy.
25. Check that the required Integration with the BMS is done.
26. Check that the condensate drain are done based on the
approved ESP calculation
27. Check that the required identification is done.
28. Check that all motorized dampers are installed with the
relevant accessories.
29. Check that the heat pipe and RAC Coil are installed properly
with the relevant accessories.
30. Check that all BMS accessories are installed properly.
31. Ensure all safety precautions have been complied before &
Safety after installation.
